T.a.r. Challenge

I think the peanut gallery should STFU and let the players make a game. If any of you dont want to watch a game that isnt played even (Luxury)...don't let the door hit your ass on the way out. Shimmy is saying Donny is all talk???? Who the F**K have you stepped up to for 10K??? I doubt it was Rodney. I'm pretty sure I would have read about him playing some drooling retard for big money. Why don't you just get back on the bus and put your helmet back on..the adults are talking.

If a player decides to use AZBilliards to make a game what the hell does he think is going to happen? If you don't want the peanut gallery putting their 2 cents in then perhaps not putting the post in the frickin peanut factory would be the first logical step.

AZBilliards and the peanut gallery is akin to the "rail" in a pool hall when the players and backers start yacking back and forth. While the woofing takes place all the people on the rail have their own discussion on the woofing and back and forth offers, only on a message board that which is said is heard by all unlike in the pool hall.

This is the way it is, it is nothing more then common sense that on a forum like this a thread like this is going to bring out a ton of differing opinions and all sorts of people are going to put in their $0.02.

Donny started the thread right here on the forum because he wanted to use the massive forum population to get the word out, that comes with the results of a thread like this, but that does not seem to have hurt Donny any as he has held his own in the back and forth banter and has come to this point with an awesome action offer that would seem to have him looking like a favorite.

This thread has been a more interesting read then some stuff we get like "which color of chalk do you like best??? Discuss!"

Tried to rep you. Still have to "pass it around" first.

This thread has been an interesting read, but some of the idiots here who have probably never played a set for more than $20 because it's all they can do to hit the cue ball, let alone actually pocket an object ball are running their mouths saying Donny should step up and be a man and play even. It's a joke.

Sounds to me like he is playing on his own dime and wants to play a champion for 10 thousand dollars. That's pretty manly in my book, even if he is trying to get a little weight.

10 on the wire to 100 is NOT a big spot from Rodney, when the vast majority of posters on this board couldn't play him with the 6 out and the breaks.

Don't take this the wrong way, but quite a few of the people who have posted here are serious gamblers, and may know how DM plays a good bit better than you do. Most of us know that he is a legit pro speed player, and combined with his racking skills, it isn't out of line for him to play RM even rack your own. Nothing against him betting his own stew, or getting the best of it. I am not a hypocrite, and would prefer to do both myself. And for the record, I will be happy to play RM like that, and have played a whole slew of people(pros included) sets for thousands.

It will be a bigger spot if Donny wins the flip and puts a 6 pack on him, rack your own.

Home pool room vs outside pool room is a big advantage. I know it is a pool table but the depth perception and surroundings, lighting all have an effect on people and how they play.

Once a guy gets the table raised abit, gets the pockets shimmed, the home room advantage is lessened. And then Donny seems to be pretty smart about things so once that table is done up for the match I would imagine he is going to put in hours of practice on the thing and get accustomed to the surroundings and the table.

By the time the match gets going I am not sure how much of a "home room advantage" will be left, and that 10 games on the wire, rack your own, against a guy who beat a monster like Kiamco and probably sent Kiamco and crew back to the Phillipines to attempt to figure out that rack/break for the next 6 months.

As you said Rodney better win that lag or he could be hating this set long before he gets his first shot. If Donny comes out firing on all cylinders fading that spot will become very, very hard against a guy who is himself a pro level player and seasoned gambler and who can control the "luck" factor of the break to a degree that he is not likely to give up control of the table without a fight very often.

Whatever, I think this is going to be one sweet set to sweat, if I can find someone who like Rodney at this point...

10 ball you have action. List the 10 that cannot beat him and I will play a set with at least two different players since you said might. No offense to Donny as I know he plays great, but Top 11 is a little much (other than rack-your-own 9 ball; which is a great feat also).

BTW I like Donny in this game. Good luck to both parties.

I don't know. Name the top 13 americans and ill see if i would play any of them 10ball.

I said it before-- excuses, excuses. Appreciate you proving my point. If you are such a good player as some say on here then why can't you adjust to a table? Most great players, even good players, are able to adjust to the table. You are a clown. Quit talking and play. Is Rodney or who ever your gonna play coming up with excuses.

I have always always had a tough time adjusting to tables. That is just me and probly always will be me.

Didnt you read where i said how i lost to sugar shane even, and beat hennessee even with in a couple months of each other. It was the table! This was 8 years ago.

Don't worry. It won't happen. The great pool player(DM) will find some way for it to not happen. Don't you find it amazing that some on here, including Clown(DM), talk and brag about how good he is and yet, he wants a spot, needs a spot?

I like your new avatar... Some how it makes you seem like you're not as big of a jack off as you really are. Still just an illusion.

My theory is that a seasoned pro (Playing pool is his profession therefore a "pool pro") with a lot of television experience will have way less nerves than someone who hasn't in a pay-per-view situation.

I've seen what happens to great players when they finally get to the tv rounds and it isn't pretty.

That's why I believed I had an easy payday.

Now when you get 10 games on the wire I don't think you are going to be so nervous. In fact I think the guy who might end up down 14-0 might start getting nervous.

Since you aren't so nervous you might be able to play above an 880. If you are playing the ghost you aren't going to be nervous compared to playing a monster like Rodney so I respectfully decline your offers.

Play Rodney even in a race to 100 rack your own as originally planned on pay-per-view and I will post $1000 to TAR and you can do the same.

Any discussion about any other bet on anything else with anyone else is out of the question.

Oh you are wrong. I will be very very nervous just like I always am when I play a bigger match. I've always been that way. I'd also be nervous playing the ghost games I offered you.

Yes exactly! Surroundings but def lighting!

6pack would be nice, but im a slow starter sometimes.

Yes...and the original posters point was that DM was in the top 10 in the USA in Ten Ball. So I would think that DM is most likely there but no one will know until he plays someone on the list.

Damn skinny gets my vote too. I've seen him play a few times and I don't want any (please and thank you, Sir).
