Yep. That's the one. I meant to add the link to my post and forgot. Thanks for putting it up.FAST_N_LOOSE said:http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7170660801&category=21212&ssPageName=WDVW&rd=1
DO YOU MEAN THAT CUE? IF SO THERE ARE A FEW REASONS.
1) THERE IS ONLY 1 SHAFT
2) THERE ARE NO SPECS LISTED FOR THE CUE.
3) RESERVE AUCTIONS DON'T DO WELL WITH THE MARKET THIS WEAK
4) THE SELLER HAS NO FEEDBACK RELATING TO CUSTOM CUES.
5) THERE IS NO PICTURE OR MENTION OF A TAD LOGO, THAT MAKES AUTHENTICITY QUESTIONABLE.
I DON'T KNOW THE SELLER NOR AM I DOUBTING HIM/HER BUT THOSE THINGS WOULD KEEP MY BID LOWER THAN NORMAL, AND EVEN AUTHENTIC WITH 2 SHAFTS IT'S NOT GOING TO DO WELL WITH THE CUE MARKET THE WAY IT IS RIGHT NOW.
I was going to look into it further. But, if he's looking at that kind of money for one shaft and fairly simple butt, I'll pass.Hunter said:He's also not that cheap. I talked to him about a "Buy it Now" price. He is asking $1,800. I recently sold a two shafter for less. There is also the verification problem. Mine was also unmarked. Good luck with that!!!
ironchef. said:My thoughts after looking at the auction is the poor quality of pics. The seller does have a decent feedback rating, but seems kind of ho-hum about the listing. I mean, there's a pic of bike among his auction pictures for a pool cue, careless.
From the pics, it looks to be a Tad. One shaft, no specs on weight or shaft diameter. I personally prefer the fancier Tads with the crazy inlaid butts.
