Takini Cloth ( Very Similar to SIMONIS )

If u represented the product and put your name out there to sell it then u bear responsibility. If u didn'twant to be responsible u should have had the cue owner sell it himself. Why should the buyer suffer when he trusted that u were selling a good product? How would u like to buy a Tv from a retailer, bring it home, it doesn't work and the retailer just states that its not there fault they were just selling it for some guy on the street. We can't find the guy anymore so not our problem.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and i think by offering the buyer the opportunity to get the cue fixed is a fair compromise. Even in Jeff's earlier post he talks about getting the cue repaired at my cost, which under different circumstances i would agree to.

Now to put this behind me, i am offering to pay for the repair of the cue.

Chris

I believe if u pay to repair the cue to the condition it was promised then that would be a fair compromise

Cloth

I'm glad Takini cloth plays "like" Simonis. Maybe it has Sony guts. I can get Simonis for $185 for a 9ft table, so I would just prefer to get Simonis and be done with it. I'm just that way.

As far as "selling" a cue for your friend, who is now no where to be found. Come on man. Man up and don't lie about it. You sold the cue, the cue is warped, and you are blaming a fictitious friend?

It's cool you're selling this knock-off cloth at a c-note cheaper than the "real" stuff, but get square on the cue deal. You aren't fooling anyone - YOU sold YOUR cue. YOU lied about the condition. YOU owe the guy a FULL refund or a COMPLETE reapir. There was no "friend" involved.

I have no reason to lie, I don't own any Joss West cues and haven't for over a year. I am trying to make it right and have made a fair offer to make it right.

As far as my rep going from red to green again, maybe it's because I have sold a few cues, and several beds of cloth with no complaints.

Cue

So when you said in your for sale ad: "I am selling this cue for a close friend here in Las Vegas", the close friend is now no where to be found? Really? I have friends that weren't even close to me that I can still tell you where they are. You have a "close" friend and a month later you have no idea where they are or how to get in contact with them? Please explain.

This whole thread stinks. As just having gone through a bad deal with imitation fake goods... the FAKE J.Flowers Cases raffled off by tasaddicts where I won one and got a fake, I know how it feels to get ripped off by recieving a fake instead of the real deal....you should refund the guy for his damaged goods, pay for the return shipping as he got took by you and your "friend" in selling a damaged cue...and take more informative decisions as to selling knock-off goods. If you are selling a product that has another "logo" from a reputable name brand on it...question it from your supplier and manufacturer, cover your azz...so you dont get caught in this trouble. You are only hurting your own reputation and your own credibility here on AZ. Just some friendly advice.

I appreciate the advice. I also want to clear up any misconception that the cue could be a knock off, the cue is a 100% authentic Bill Stroud Joss West in which the buyer is claiming the cue has a bent pin, I am not doubting the buyer, however I went over the cue and rolled or and found there to be a roll in one shaft.

I am taking responsibility for the cue even though i didn't receive anything for selling the cue, since I have be unable to contact my friend I'm whom I sold the cue for.

I also have several phone calls in to Bill Stroud as to how heat be able to help fix the cue, which so far have been unreturned as well as 2 emails.

After reading the above 2 threads, I think you better find a way to make people happy.

Just go into hiding and resurface with a new user name or something!

LOL, now thats funny.. I have tried to make it right with both the Embassy guy, and XPLAY, one i have made an offer to, and the other tried scamming me for a shaft, and i haven't seen the cue returned, and i offered to refund him on that cue.

So, please don't think by your post Embassy you will stop me from doing business, i have an WILL sell cues and cloth no matter what your scamming @#$&% thinks.

I'm not sure how asking for a shaft to compensate for the incorrect description of the cue and the trouble you put the buyer through constitutes "scamming." You may think it's ridiculous to ask for a shaft as compensation but the buyer did not. Just because he asked for it doesn't mean he's scamming you because he is not misleading you in anyway. You however, did mislead him but incorrectly describing your product. I believe you are closer to a scammer than he is and don't see why he would trust that you'd refund the money if he returns the cue.

Well i guess i am glad i am not dealing with you then, you might be his Brother for all i know!

Giving someone a $300-400 dollar shaft for NOTHING constitutes in my book trying to SCAM someone.

I guarantee i have purchased more cues and accessories than most on this board, there are several people that would vouch for me to being no Scammer...

And as for me not describing the cue to a T well i agree that i failed in that catagory, however it doesnt mean i should have to give him a FREE shaft! one of the
shafts had a roll, and i offered to trade out the other shaft for one that would work for him, however that wasn't good enough he had to try and con me out of a
free shaft so that he keeps his mouth shut and doesn't put all this on AZ...

What a JOKE

Me to Kenny:

I think I found a 12.75 shaft, and it is a friend of mine.

Send me the other smaller straighter shaft of the 2 I sent and I will get the one from her as a trade.

Chris

Kenny to Me:

I do not know if you do not understand or what...I want a extra fuller SW shaft as a compensation, not to trade one of the original shafts.

Well Good Luck! i am trying to help you out, i am not going to send you another shaft
for nothing.

JUST SEND THE F$%##@ CUE BACK!!

I am tired of trying to help you, it is obvious now you are be unreasonable. If you send me the Shaft i will get one
to replace that one.

Chris

Kenny to Me: ( trying to threaten me with my peers to get a free shaft )

I am giving you many chances to make it right and thought you might be a stand up guy. You already have very bad reputation on AZ. I know if I post this story on AZ, you could be done on AZ. But looks like I have no other option. At least I can warn other az victims from buying craps from you.

Me to Kenny:

you do what you have to, i think many people on AZ will see that i tried to make it right but your
GREED stopped that from happening!

They will also see that i gave you the option to send the cue back, however you chose to TRY and ruin
my reputation on AZ.

I promise you i will be fine, and i am a stand up guy who ships cues all over the world and who is continuing to get great feedback.

Regards..

Me to Kenny: ( FINAL )

Send back the shaft, and i will get you one to replace it with, otherwise we're done talking. I am not going to
give you a FREE southwest shaft…..

Thats our Conversation via Email, as you ALL can now see he makes it out like i had no communication with him and was trying to dodge him, which is just Crazy!!

And as far as XPLAY goes, i have offered to repair the cue for FREE and am awaiting his reply, SO PEOPLE PLEASE STOP SAYING I AM A SCAMMER...

I'm not saying it's fair to give him a shaft for his troubles, I'm just saying that it's not scamming to ask for a shaft to make things right. Hell he could have asked for another cue and it's not scamming because he's not misleading you in anyway. I'm not really saying you're a scammer, but you seem to be using that word real loosely. I'm saying that if you deem the other guy a scammer because he requested a shaft for his troubles, you're closer to a scammer than he is.
