Focus is key to playing your best. Trying to learn every time you play can be a distraction too-but that’s another conversation. And much more important than a talced up table.

Another tip. Use corn starch instead of talc.

I apply a little only to the part of my bridge hand that comes into contact with the shaft. When I'm in a pool hall unless someone sees me apply it nobody knows I'm using powder.

Joe Porter Talc Dispenser……it is shaped like a round nose bullet and only releases a small amount of talc
that you can apply in between your bridge fingers. If you have to use powder due to the conditions, then
try this talc dispenser. It works really well and does not create a mess like with baby powder dispensers.

I’m curious about that chalk.

The only thing that I consider with chalk is how it bites the CB and releases. What ever does that best is my choice.

There was one chalk I can’t remember which one. Seems like it had a black wrapper in it about 10 years ago that worked good but made my hand sticky-which I didn’t like. I chalknwoth my bridge hand and I have wet hands. It was super dark blue and got sticky. Had to wash my hands a lot. Didn’t work better than Master. So I never really used it.

i bought 2 cubes of TAOM (for the EXPERIENCE) likely will be the only 2 i ever buy... im happy with Master

That stroke will feel like you're 21 again. I honestly enjoy the stuff you can do with this chalk. Those miscues you had trying that hero shot? Well, V10 held a little better and that shot went. Hey, look over there... your opponent's jaw just dropped and they are mumbling something about bad luck and rolls. 🤣

I’m going to start playing again here pretty soon. Looking forward to trying it. I always like to try new stuff(except gloves).
