Talisman Tips

i used to. i've had 3 really good ones. they were like getting a good lepro or triangle. the problem is all the ones i seem to run into now delaminate
 
I used to use the soft, but it seemed like the smaller they got the better they played.
 
I play them and I install them. And yes there are a few over the past 10 years that did not hold together well but they are still my tip of choice.

I have been using mediums, really like the way they hold up. I don't have to keep messing with the tip. two years now and just put on my second tip. I used to use Morri mediums-- but too much roughing up needed to get some hair on the tip.
 
I have been using Talisman hards for the last 3 years. I tend to get 12 months out of them playing 3 hours per day. For me, they hold chalk well, hold their shape well, and need little maintanence. They do play better when they get thinner.
 
yup, I play the talisman soft on my OB1 shafts.....pretty good replacement for the everest tip. BTW I like softer tips.
 
Talisman Pro Hard - plays perfect on my OB-1 w/o the carbon fiber pad. Solid hit with lots of action.
 
i used one once and it delaminated.....never gone back.....there's plenty of better tips out there
 
I had one until just a few weeks ago. It was my first laminated tip and while I didn't treat it right (scuffed it too much cuz i didn't know any better when i first got it), it did play pretty well. it took me a while to get used to playing a medium/hard tip, but after that, i liked it a lot. i wanted to try a kamui, so that's on my shaft now.

let us know how that works out for you. i had a kamui for a while but it started to glaze over and miscue a lot on me

I tried them a few years ago and I switched back to Moori tips which i'd been using. I think when I tried them they'd just come out and I wanted to see if I liked them better than the Moori tips i'd been using, I didn't. I'm using Sniper tips now and I really like them.

i hate snipers. they make cues feel dead imo
