Talisman tips

I was introduced to Talisman Pro tips (med) when I bough my Judd in 2004, and really like them. I had a delamination problem w/one of the tips I bought since then from Tony directly (maybe 2007/8) and he replaced it no problem. All others I have nothing but a really good experience with and the consistency in play from tip to tip is terrific. I'm a fan.

Talisman tips are the only tips I have used for 5 years.

Except for a short try with a Kamuii--which I found way to hard and did not hold chalk.

Does talisman soft tip mushrooms really fast?

Not at all. They hold their shape very well.

I have a few Mediums but I always recommend Soft to a customer. Have never had any complaints with a Talisman.

One of the tips that I stock. And yer right, Tony is a great guy to deal with.

On one the tip deals, you will get a Talisman break tip. I installed the Talisman break tip on a customers Predator BK. He still has it on and its been some time.

Too bad that you can't buy the Breaks tips separately. Well, you can if you ask nice. Like I said, Tony is a good guy.

The Break tips work A OK.

I played with Talisman tips for years. Then I had 3 in a row delaminate on me and I switched. I think at the time they changed where the tips were made and the quality wasn't the same. Maybe they have fixed that problem now but I couldn't afford to keep buying them just to see if the problem was corrected. Which I hope they are because they were the best tips when I first started with them.

I still have a couple lying around, but don't want to pay someone to put them on in case they come apart too.

Joe, they did have a problem with delamination at some point but that was corrected.

Yer good to go now. No problemos.

I have used Talisman tips for several years. Two WB Hard and one Pro Hard. The Pro Hard tip is great. The WB Hard is my favorite commercial tip. But that may only be because I have more experience with their WB tips. Both are accurate and put plenty of action on the cue ball. None of the tips are showing signs of wear. So I may not need too many more.

I have not had problems with delamination, but have heard of the issues that others experienced. With only three samples for making judgements, I cannot help decide if anything has improved. No signs of mushrooming.

I use a Talisman Extra Hard as a break tip. Also a great tip.
