So I am flipping channels & there I see it: Tammy Faye Baker along side Kevin Trudeau, being used to hock his book. The quote of the show in the 5 minutes I watched was by Tammy Faye "That is what makes you more credible". What does Tammy Faye Baker know about credibility? :eek:

Her cancer has come back and she is probably going to die any day now, she is in the last stages. She has asked that the commercial not be shown anymore but KT could care less, he will exploit any one he can. His informercals and book sales are down to almost nothing and I guess he is getting desperate trying to keep Natural Cures afloat.

He needs to come up a new act to keep the cash flow coming, Naturel cures won't do it any more. As stupid as the general public is, remember platform shoes and every mindless idiot wearing a cowboy hat after the Trovolta movie, even they see the guy behind the curtain eventually. Kevin, time to reinvent yourself again before you go broke for the, how many time will that be for you now"?

Well, I sure wouldn't mind walking in Kevin Trudeau's shoes, jet-setting around the world, enjoying the finer things in life. He obviously knows how to make things happen, and he follows through. The IPT, in case you haven't noticed, has put pool on the map.

Yep, I'd love to walk in Kevin Trudeau's shoes, as a matter of fact. It sure as hell beats sitting here reading posts on a pool forum from discontents *****ing about the IPT.

That's easy, some creative debt management, a little B.S. for the gullible, add to that the willingness to lie as well as bilk peoples credit cards that foolishly put trust in him, (He is being investigated as we speak) and there you go. The thing is, you couldn't walk in his shoes and neither could I, although I am very well off but I made it honestly.

That's because you and I and fortunately most people don't have it in us to do what he does, and that is a good thing. Good luck to the IPT and it's players but save any admiration for someone more worthy then KT, I am embarrassed for you, you have been bought so cheaply. I guess it is time for you to leave some more vulgar messages on my rep thing. Your a class act.

And I am embarassed for you, Macguy. Correct me if I am wrong, but did you not post previously that you were not going to write any more negativity about the IPT?

You just can't seem to follow through, a trait which is prevalent in bullies who hide behind a computer and attack when given a platform. In reality, it is a form of severe insecurity.

He didn't say anything negative about the IPT in this thread, only KT. The only mention of IPT he made was wishing it and its players good luck.

Kelly, I truly don't want to get in a battle of semantics with you.

I would cut-and-paste Macguy's previous proclamations about not posting anything further in a negative way pertaining to the the IPT, Kevin Trudeau, Keith McCready, and myself, but for what purpose? If you are truly interested, it wouldn't take a long amount of time to do a search, as the forum record speaks for itself.

I tend to not battle with anyone on here JAM, no reason to battle with you.

I have read at least one post by Macguy saying something to that affect. Sometimes people change there minds about things.

I was talking about this thread, and in this thread, he was only negative about KT.

Okay, Kelly. Let me try to diplomatically spell it out for you.

When I used the term "battle," I meant debating about words, i.e., semantics.

Debating about words and their meaning does not infer in any way that I desire to battle with you, Kelly, as a person.

Sometimes words in their written form can be misinterpreted.

I'll provide you a good illustration of what I mean. Macguy proclaims that I left a "vulgar" message in his rep box. His interpretion of what is vulgar may differ from mine. Believe me, Kelly, I have enough command of the English language to express my thoughts without having to resort to vulgarity. I have never done so in the open forum or in one's rep points box.

I was just making this post because I never knew before that KT used Tammy Faye to hock his book and was very surprised by his choice. I would think that he could come up with someone else (Susanne Sommers, Chuck Norris, Christie Brinkley, Victoria Principle, that crazy english guy that wears the bow tie & rants and raves about everything). I apologize if it is true, but I don't think that Tammy Faye even has or ever had cancer. I saw her on Larry King a few months back & she stammered thru his questions & everything she said was just unbelievable to me. Why use Tammy Faye when her & her husband used people's blind weakness of the love of god to make millions, only to come out later that they were phonies. Why would KT want to associate himself with that in any way, shape or form?

I also never mentioned the IPT or JAM in my initial statement, so any intent by someone to flame this thread on that basis--please take it elsewhere.

No offense, but if someone says something in a post, and it sounds like they know what they are talking about, it is real easy to do an internet search and confirm or deny rather than just replying that you don't think it is true.

I was watching this thread because I find the association of KT and Tammy Faye, and his employment of her to endorse his book extremely telling. I am glad you posted what you saw. The LK interview may have been rather old? orr it might have been during one of the remissions? The unbelievable part isn't a shock. :D

As for reading people's rep comments, I do not think that is possible, unless you logged in as that person and viewed them directly...and I think as new ones come in, the old ones are taken off of the list. But, if I am wrong, I also would be interested. I couldn't find anything on it a while back when I poked around.

Yes I know it is all over the net of Tammy Faye & her cancer. But it is all what she claims and I wouldn't believe a thing that Tammy Faye says. The Larry King interview I saw was real recent. She has lung cancer and is still traveling around the country??? That must make her treatment real difficult. I am sorry but I feel this is just a way for her to gain sympathy & in the end MONEY. You can teach someone how to do almost anything in this world but once they have lied because of their greed they almost everytime will do it again. Just as if someone steals, you can't teach them not to steal. Again, for KT to 'be in bed' with Tammy Faye in order to sell his book is a very poor choice.

Sorry, I misunderstood you. I thought you were saying you did not believe MacGuy, I did not think you were saying you did not believe Tammy's claim at all and believed it to be a hoax. I guess it could be, but I seriously doubt it.

Many people continue a normal life and routine with cancer up until the very end....traveling, granting interviews, etc. There are good days and bad days. Dana Reeves recently (march) died of lung cancer. She stayed active with Christopher's foundation, gave interviews etc until the later stages.
