Tampa pool school with Johnny Archer and Earl Strickland

The Legends and Champions pool Tour will be in the south at the beginning of january. I have had quite a few people ask recently and in the past about Johnny and Earl coming to Fla and so I am trying to throw this in if possible.
We would be looking to do a pool school from 11.00am to 3.00pm on Wednesday the 7th of January. Will as always will be limiting the number of students to 12, I will be working on a possible exhibition also but I am not sure when. I know this is last minute but it seems there is an interest there. Please either call me or email me if you are interested. The cost is $200.00 cash per person, Thanks and I hope we can make this work,

Well, they've both spent a good deal of time in the Tampa area and are well known here, but if they plan to be here for the Super Bowl, their trip may be tax deductible. Have you tried Hammer Heads and/or Strokers ?

No I havn't tried anywhere yet. I know that I have been sent messages and emails requesting this and saying that there would be plenty of pool rooms who would host the exhibition. All I am looking for right now is to see how many are willin g to commit to a pool school at this short notice just to try and make it happen. If I can get 12 people and an exhibition for the tampa stop then we will do it. Otherwise it will be hard to do as we are going way out of the way to do it there. %hrs from Macon Ga to Tampa and them like 9 hours to Florence, Al where the next stop would be. I keep getting requests to go there and when I offer it I hear crickets ya know? Lets see by 122.00 my time if we have any interest afterall. Thanks for the advice though Smorg, I will see about those places once I get some pool School Students.

Wish I could afford it, Strokers Tampa is only 30 minutes away. But good luck with making it happen.

Well David if it happens we will be doing an exhibition there so you should come by at least and say hi.
 
Any plans of coming up to North Carolina. Figures that I am working that day. I could've told my fiancee' "how about we go down to Tampa to see your parents?" and followed that up with "Oooooh wow listen to this Earl Strickland and Johnny Archer are here.....what luck....I can't miss this!!"

I would have to do a challenge match of Wii pool as well ;)
 
I'd just like to go to Florida to see my kid. It'd be my luck that he'd be at the pool school when I got there, though. :wink:

I am committing to a ticket right now, as long as it is not on a weekend. Doesn't matter to me what day it is.

I will be committing as well as long as I can get that day off of work. I will know later today if I can (sorry i didn't know it was going to be so short of a notice, otherwise I would not have a problem getting off of work).

Also once you contact the room owner I'm sure it will fill up.
 
Do any of you know the name and number of the APA League Operator for the Tampa Area? If yoiu could please pm me with it I would appreciate it. I have really only about a half a day here to try and make it happen. Thanks and I will keep you guys updated

Well guys I think we are going to be out of luck this time. I can't reach the APA League Operators for either Tampa or the Bay Area and they would be the ones who could help to get the word out quickly. Also with such short notice I don't think that any of the pool rooms are going to be interested in hosting a exhibition again due to the last min short notice. I will try Florida again in a few months maybe when we have more time to put it together. However if any of you can make it up to Macon, Ga on Tues 6th of Jan that would be great. I am sorry it didn't work out this time and thank you for your support and interest,

Thanks for trying Mark, If I had more notice i would have been in. Let us know when you try down here again.
 
Still waiting for you to come to the Jacksonville / Orlando area, please let us know when that is going to happen, and as I mentioned before myself and a few others on here can definitely help with rooms in the Jax area.
