I recently moved to the Tampa/St. Pete area. Looking to meet some players and build a network here. I plan to play mostly at Brandon Billiards since I like the smoke-free rooms. Shoot me a PM if you'd like to meet up to play some friendly games.

No players in there. I used to be there once a week or so when I lived there. They are also expensive. You are going to have to go over to Hammerheads to find a players tournament. Strokers maybe. It was all B players when I was in there. There used to rooms on Busch and Bearass but you might get mugged in there. Ray Martin got robbed of his cue right in front of one.

side pocket in seminole has diamonds, 1 really tight one.

crooked cue in clearwater, donny mills plays outta here. lots of nice diamonds.

Welcome to the Area, I send out an invitation for you and any friends to show up

This weekend at Strokers in Palm Harbor off US 19, the US Amateur Championships are taking place from Thursday to Sunday.

If you want, send me a PM, I will be out there talking with players and trying to sell or pick up a few customs or collectibles. I might even try to get a table if Rolando or Jose have some room to set up some Displays.

Anyway, if you want some introductions to some great players, poolhall owners and the area and layout, I would be happy to help out.

This is a great area for the Pool Playing,

I am the Area Manager for the GPPA.intl.com league, the one that Mike Sigel has the Handicapped system for and we just finished the first session and 3 of my 4 teams from Largo, Florida, specifically, Corner Pockets PoolHall which is off Ulmerton and Starkey Blvd,

2 Teams won $800

And the SuperStahs team won, $10,000 in Session Money,

We will be starting another session in January and if you are an Amateur 8-Ball Player we can talk about the league and potential, I just hope that more people get on board before this great amateur 8-Ball Money goes away.

So, email me @ michaelkennedy_1@yahoo.com

or call me @ 727 277 9853

Take Care and Hope to see you this Weekend,

Strokers will be packed, but if you get together with us, there are 3 other Big Pool Halls within 20 minutes that we can check out one or all of them for you to see the Pool Action.

Sorry to hear it!

We will miss you, up here. I never did get revenge for the doses you gave me at first break.

The doses on your home table were enough to force me away. That and having to play one pocket the first time this decade.

Oh pleas...you did great.

You got a game on the wire to 11 or some 9-8 one hole, when you are ready to play some!*

*offer valid within 30mi radius of Washington dc only.

Actually Crooked Cue, which is where i play out of, when I'm in town, only has 3 9' Diamonds. The rest are older Gandy Big G tables. It is a nice room, with nice owners. They have a fun little tournament every Wed. afternoon (starts at 1p...$5 entry). You can play every day from noon to six for $5...a deal!

Met up with axejunkie (Ben) this afternoon for a few hours of pool at Crooked Cue. Very enjoyable meeting! Ben can play, and we both had a great time. I encourage all the local AzBr's to meet up with him, and have some fun! Thanks Ben...I look forward to us playing again! Welcome to the area!

Well, you and I have many circles that meet, but we never have. We should rectify that.

I am moments off I-95, just south of dc...

Glad you met the axejunker. Hope you put some holes in his game!

Welcome to the good life!

I'm not a fan of smokey rooms either, but Brandon is a haul from St Pete and the neighborhood is less than ideal. And that room has no personality.

My friend Rolando runs Strokers, and it's a great room. SMOKEY, but great place.

I do have a sweet 9ft Diamond Pro at home. So if you want a smoke-free table to play on, come on over!

Hey Scott and Ben and any other St.Pete/ Largo/ Vicinity Players

I am going back up to Strokers to watch more of the Amateur Championships,

I will be up there about Noon, so if any others want to meet up for Lunch and watch some of the great Amateur players from around the USA, please send me a pm or call me and let me know that you want to meet up and we can sit and chat and possibly shoot after watching possibly goto another poolhall close by and shoot some.

Scott knows me, but if anyone else meets up, I am the guy using a crutch, so I should be able to be located fairly easily.

PM me or call me @ 727 277 9853 or email me @ michaelkennedy_1@yahoo.com and I will give you a heads up on where at Strokers we will be so all th people that want to get together can find everyone else,

I am sure there will be a few new introductions and love to meet new players and others that I have met and played with in the past.

Talk to you soon,

PS.

I am also going to be bringing about 20 or 30 Vintage and Collectible cues from my collection in case anyone is interested to look at, compare and or do some dealing. So, if you have something interesting to look at talk about or the such, please feel free to bring it along, these are great conversation pieces.
