I haven't reviewed the whole thread but have seen some commentary on the player's skills.
I'm not a league player so I can't calibrate their ratings but just on intuition, it seems to me that they both would be about a 6.
They both seem to take so little time aiming their shots that they must be "feel" players...without a whole lot of feel.
Both seem to have little more than a general idea about the direction the CB will take.
Both have choppy...pokey strokes that you kinow in advance are going to let them down.
cubc has some weirdness going on with his closed bridge and a bridge length that is MUCH too long for his level of skill.
OMG has a SUPER concave right wrist position that I don't care for. A few top players have somewhat similar wrist positions that they seem to be able to overcome but it is a handicap for most IMHO.
I don't buy the lack of practice time excuse. Actually, the match stayed pretty even for a LONG time so he had plenty of time to get in gear...he just never did and just has sort of a ready, fire, aim approach so I doubt that his performance was much different than what is typical of him.
They both have plenty of nerve to get in the box under the circumstances and I guess it doesn't surprise me that OMG would have bet up with the 7 ball.
Regards,
Jim
I does surprise me that cubc gave her the weight because he shouldn't be giving weight to anything other than genuine bangers and anyone who can make 6 balls in a row would rob him.
