If youre trying to be cute and funny you fail. Highly innapropriate after reading posts about donating to animal shelters. Take a hike.
Dude, first of all, are you serious? I love animals. I have a dog that is my life. I was just trying to lighten the mood. And second, what posts are you talking about?

Is it your favorite word?

Just wondering if misogynistic is your favorite word?

So Sweet Marissa is vicious because she points out that Cubc made some misogynistic and racial remarks (in addition to flat out lies) about OMGWTF..?! Give me a break.

No, his favorite word is "classy", followed by "disingenuous", and then "infantile", and finally "misogynistic". Get it straight! :p :D

Cuebacca... happens to agree with Peer, except for the Amer'ca bashin' part.

Damn, I think I just opened myself up to jabs from all sides now. :o :)

Me too

I too agree with some of what he's saying, but there is so much more that I don't.

Oh, and pardon me Cuebacca, please forgive me and I beg of you to give me one more opportunity to prove my worthiness. :D :D :p :p

Wow, that's a great gift to the community.

Now you've made up for the ultimate sin: Selling a good 70-200/2,8 :( . You never give up such a lens. It's at least as good as my 2,8/70-200 L IS-counterpart (I'm a Canonian), without which I will never go to work in a theater or concerthall.

Don't confuse a good lens with a girlfriend: You might err on the latter, but you are always right on the former :o

Regards,

Detlev
All is now right with the world. Thanks to Eric Crisp and his amazing donation of his playing cue and Uwate for buying it, I now have a brand spanking new Nikkor 70-200 f/2.8 VR in my bag. I was playing with it in the store before I bought it and was actually smiling because I forgot how awesome that particular lens is. :D

Now all I need is a 14-24 2.8, 24-70 2.8, 105 2.8 macro, a nice fisheye for fun and a big honkin 400mm just....well just because eveyone needs a lens you can see the spots on measle ball from a 100 yards away. :D

Oh yeah and new D3 to put them all on. A guy can dream.

Yeah, me too probably. I think I lost track of what everyone was saying. So many threads, so many pages.

OK, but you're on notice! :p

Duddette, I am serious. Your teriyaki joke was tasteless. And it followed the post about the generous donation from someone who bet on OMG to have her winnings donated to an animal shelter.

Try reading posts 63, 64, and 65.
I know they weren't all about Sweet Marissa, so you probably missed them.

You have a bizarre way of lightening the mood.

World,

Mahwissa will never acknowledge anything from me. She once called me the C-word on this board and got away with it.

Like I should care.

And thanks for going through with the donation! Keep the receipt, it's good for a tax write-off!

Is that when "pot calling kettle black" phrase is properly used in English proverb?

"Now he wants to come here, without so much as an apology, and act like none of that ever happened. I sure haven't forgotten."

yobagua,

I would love to find out how to commercially sell these nuts and get out of my job and to be happily creating joy for lots of peoples.

I cannot do this without a license.

I've heard of one company - the article in in my work desk drawer - that creates licensed kitchens that people can rent by the hour to make [edit[ BAKED GOODS[/edit] and legally sell to the public.

Trust me, I WOULD LOVE NOTHING MORE than to make happy mouths with what I've been tweeking to perfection for the last 25 years.

But I have to go by the rules and I respect that.

If anyone in the NJ/PA area can help me out, I would certainly appreciate the advice/help.

With all of this new equipment on the way, why dont you bring it down to Louisiana and document some action and/or podcast an action match.

Thank you guys for everything you're doing for the pool community.

haven't watched the whole match yet but cub seems to be a decent player once he gets going - trouble was he dogged a lot of shots and maybe rushed a bit much. omgwtf made up for being slightly weaker by being more solid.

anyway maybe cub did say some inappropriate things but it's all over now. they played, he lost, and even though just the fact he turned up and played doesn't excuse what he said, the fact he lost is punishment enough. the blow to a competitive man's ego is painful with any loss, let alone a game with all the slanging going on before it. and to a woman as well!! he's hurting no doubt, or was. no need to rub salt into the wounds.

i say cut the man a bit of slack and lets move on.
