All of the info on the 2013 US Open One Pocket PPV stream is now up on the TAR homepage at: http://theactionreport.com/home.html

Here are the highlights:

$12 per day
$35 for entire US Open One Pocket Event July 17-20, 2013
$80 for all ten days of the 2013 US Open One Pocket, Ten Ball, Eight Ball

ALL TIMES PACIFIC
One Pocket
July 17-20: First match 10 AM. Last match starts at 10 PM. Five matches a day except for the final day. On the 20th the semis are at 11 AM and the finals at 2 PM. After the finals people will see 10 Ball for the remainder of the day.

We plan to loop select matches until 9 AM the next morning. THIS CAN CHANGE. When you stream 23 hours a day for ten days at some point you have to maintain somethings that will require downtime. We will do our best to keep this to a minimum but it can and probably will happen that a loop will end early at some point.

I will try to keep each days matches updated on the TAR page as best I can so people know what is coming.

We are running one stream. It is 640x360 at 1.5Mbps. This is the same data rate as the 1280x720 stream we have been running only at the smaller resolution. This is for a couple reasons. It will allow a decent picture for people who put the feed on a TV and go full screen but the default viewer will still work well with iPhone/IPad,Android devices.

If there are any questions post them up I will do my best to answer them. First matches tomorrow are:

10 AM: Shane Van Boening vs Jeremy Jones
1 PM : Chris Bartram vs Bill Stroud

Rest of the day is TBA

My only question is who did you hire to sleep for you because you probably won't be getting any?

Hey, enjoying the stream so far. A few people mentioned in another thread getting a hitch every 2-5 minutes where everything freezes, then it's back to normal. Any possible fixes for this? It's super smooth except for these periodic hiccups. Using chrome with a good cable internet connection.

2nd question, is there anything wrong with the top view camera?
Everything is faded and paler, and there's ghosting where you faintly see a double of every ball to the right.
Is that just some quirk of having the camera mounted this way?

The overhead view is a $400 camera. The other three are $4000 cameras. There is more ghosting on the overhead than normal due to a funky cable. I am going to replace it but it will not be until tomorrow.

I haven't experienced any freezing but I will call AVW and make sure they are getting a solid feed from us and check to see if there anything on their end.

Just talked to AVW and they said its getting to them just fine. They did say its a hefty bit rate though which can cause problems for some people. After the current match I will drop it down and see if that improves things without sacrificing quality.

What is the daily price for 8 ball and when does it start?

aight, hope it works... Not sure if you did that already or not, I got one a few minutes ago but I think they're coming less frequently. I hear Kman wants to buy you a new 4k camera for the top view.

Quality is IMPECCABLE. The shots (angles) are superb, and Incardona and Justin doing commentary. I'm not sure how it could be much better.

Purchased the full package -- worth every penny. I have it streaming on my 60" and it looks better than 90% of broadcasts... let alone typical free streams offered by some... Though insidepool and NYC grind are very good also.

Also... the color of the balls is a HUGE improvement. I think it's the best thing they could have done for the balls ... just wish the 2 and the 8 weren't so dark. I have a very hard time seeing those when they're near the rail because its normally in a shadow with typical lighting.

If you have any problems :help:, let me know and I'll get you in touch with Nathan :bow-down:...he can help you and he's right down the road a piece.
