I had the pleasure of sitting down and talking to these two craftsmen during the OB Cues TARPIT in Vegas a few weeks ago. For anyone who doesnt follow the cue business, Eric Crisp is the maker of Sugartree Cues and Wes Hunter has been making Hunter Classic Cues for about 20 years.
The video is about 20 minutes long and I did not have my best day with the audio production. For some reason there was some clipping in the recording which drives me nuts but I think most people will have no problem watching it. Basically in a few spots it comes across as a popping/crackling sound but you can hear all of the discussion fine. If you dont like it I will give you your money back
It was a real pleasure to meet and get to talk with these guys. What they do fascinates me and it is always a pleasure to speak with masters of the trade. The cue in the intro is the cue that Eric Crisp donated to TAR and that Uwate now owns. We can't thank Eric enough for this amazing donation. I will keep saying it, cuemakers are a special breed. Thank you.
