If you ever get tired of the attached cue, please keep me in mind. I should be able to sell some organs to get that bad boy!

Thanks,

Zack

I'm not picky I'll take the one all the way on the bottom. :p

Myron, I Was Going To Try To Come Out To The Icc This Year, But It Didn't Work Out. Between My Shop And The Poolhall, It's Tough For Me To Get Time Away. That And The Fact That I'm Not The Average Collector, I Would Have A Hell Of A Time Fitting In At The Ritz Carlton With A Beer In My Hand....lol:d :d :d I'm Just Not Sure How I Would Handle That Environment, Or How They Would Handle Me.
Know what you mean about that.
I may not fit in as well in with my faded jeans and maybe a shirt with a bikers theme...
But I do think you need to display them at least once much like the Palmer Collections and share in the history of the cue collectors show.
The Palmer Collections and the Tascarella collections would compliment the Tad collections - maybe the tables should be close to one another.
Maybe one day!

Talk to you soon,
Myron

Marcus,
You have a mighty-fine, ass-kicking collection of Tascarrella cues. It also goes to show us that Pete can be very creative with his cue making abilities. Or is that your creativity?

I see you have 6 ivory jointed cues and 8 SS jointed cues in the photo. Which do you prefer and why?

Best Regards,
Hal in Ohio

Marcus,

Which one do you play with or do you play with all of them?

My favorites is the 4th and 5th one...from top to bottom in the first pic.

THE CUE ALL THE WAY ON THE RIGHT, WITH THE RAZOR BLADE WINDOWS IN THE BUTT.

YOU GUYS ARE STILL A TAD ON THE LOW SIDE, BUT THAT'S OK. TO ME IT ISN'T ABOUT THE VALUE, IT'S THE PRIDE OF OWNERSHIP. I LOVE MY CUES:) :) :)

And of course thats all that matters........................:)

Sounds about right! I might just be able to afford it then without selling organs!

Marcus/Zeeder, you two guys will still be young in 20-30 years. Try adding a couple of kids into the mix.

On a serious note, Marcus, great pics....great cues....perfect attitide !! Gave you some rep points on that.

Take care,
Sean

I'M SURE THE KIDS ARE GONNA HAPPEN, BUT THAT'S WHY I'M BUYING MY TOYS NOW.

I CAN TELL YA, THAT CUE IS WORTH GIVING UP AN ORGAN. IT'S GORGEOUS IN PERSON.

Marcus,

I can't even imagine how hard it is to locate high end Tascarella's much less convince the owners to sell them.

The ICCS will be back in two years, probably in Las Vegas again. They are looking to grow the collectors. You already have an awesome display sure to drop a few jaws.

I challenge everyone else here to put together a collection of interesting cues and join us. You can only display 12 cues. It doesn't have to cost a fortune, but they should be interesting. Collectible cues are an investment. You buy a big boat or an RV and look what happens to the value. Collectible cues do pretty well.

I am working on my next series. I am thinking Frank Paradise or maybe the Chicago cue makers. I am doing some research at the moment.

WHY IN TWO YEARS? I FIGURED IT WAS SOMETHING THAT WAS DONE ONCE A YEAR.

I HAD THOUGHT ABOUT CONTACTING HOPKINS, ABOUT DOING A CUE GALLERY AT THE VF EXPO, BUT I WASN'T SURE HOW MANY OTHER COLLECTORS WOULD BE INTERESTED(OR IF I WANTED TO SPEND MY ENTIRE WEEKEND AT MY TABLE WATCHING MY CUES.)

I AM ALSO THINK ABOUT A NEW COLLECTION, JUST NOT SURE WHAT I WANT TO ASSEMBLE. I MAY DO ROSEWOOD ON ROSEWOOD CUES, OR EBONY ON EBONY CUES. PROBLEM IS, I WOULD HAVE TO STOP BUYING TASCARELLAS, AND THAT WOULD BE HARD FOR ME.

Well who knows, they may do it every year, but that was the recommendation. It is too hard for the international collectors to make it every year. There were several from Japan and Taiwan.

As far as your own stuff, I think you have a good thing going with your collecting focus. Since I am almost done with the entire pre-1980 Palmer line, I am now focusing down to owning fewer but rarer cues.
