Thank you for the kind words guys. It's a special cue. One that the new owner will be very pleased with. Thanks again.

I Love it. I'm thinking the fight I'll end up having with my wife after I buy it would be worth it. Get back to you..

Just curious. Is this joint the same as a Schon joint?

Basically yes. The 5/16 x 14 is the same thread on both cues. However, not all shafts will interchange because the thread pitch may be a little different and the collets are of different sizes.

Pete custom fits his shafts to the butts so that they fit really snug. You can feel the shaft getting tighter and you screw the shaft down on the last few threads of the pin.

Schon uses a large insert and it may or may not have the clearance to fit down into the joint. If it is too big, you will only be able to get the shaft down to where the joint collar is faced off.

Correct. He calls it his compression fit joint. You can't beat these shafts. These shafts are "old growth" or "lake salvaged" or lake wood" or whatever you want to call them, they are original to the cue old growth Tascarella shafts. The shafts combined with the old maple in the forearm make for a very special hit. Thanks to everyone else as well for the kind words. The cue is a killer.

I can confirm these shafts are the real deal.
Gorgeous golden toned, full shafts
roll as straight as it gets.

Going to work on getting funds together. Thinking about pulling the trigger on this one. Hopefully it's still around in a couple days. Good luck though.. I'll be in touch.

Thanks for the input. This is the last cue I have for sale. Let's get it shipped out to the new lucky owner. Pm me, call or text
