An international team of researchers has created the world's first telescopic contact lens, which can zoom your vision almost three times and is just 1.17mm thick. Would this help an Average Joe become a world-class pool champion?

The revolutionary new lens focuses light onto the outer region of the retina, where the telescopic edge of the lens magnifies sight by 2.8 times.

People with healthy peepers would just enjoy "Superman-like eagle-eye vision" if they used the lens. The lens allows you to zoom in and out. Can you imagine trying to cut a ball in the side pocket with these lens? Hmm. . .

But these would be good. I could put away my old man magnifiers. Geez, they print those instructions pretty small these days.
Those little doo hickies are either sitting on the end of my nose or on my forehead, but they don't go too far without me.

Deffinitely come in handy for cue work other wise tips might be getting glued on upside down.
