i pitched the TV idea to my guy in the TV industry, before I went to Germany-he wass working on some Paula Abdual thing-he said she is a mess, anyways he had a plan to do it at a cool spot like Planet hollywood, or Hard Rock and pitched it -to ALOT of people(studios etc i dont know exacyly who, but he said he pitched it over 20 times everyone hated it) ZERO interest, he said he loved it and worked hard to get a bite then I dont know the industry terms but get a tape then create a story line etc then a show etc, i was pissed, so was he. Hollywood hates pool.
I wasnt going to take this, so i have convinced him to do a charcater based show like the fatss vs mosconi-he is very aware of it-saw it as a kid and remembers it well, I said charcters and bales of 100 bills on a special will cross over with poker,
I also need my secret weapon to please email me, i didnt mention any names, JAY HELP ME HERE!!!!!!
i told him about tooth and me and Mataya and jay in the booth, he wants to het a high 24 camera and get some footage of the $$$ charcters etc. and then go re-pitch it explaining it crosses over with poker, AND POKER HAS KILLED POOL, but poker is losing its market share on TV so on the backside of poker we have a show.
now yesterday someone very nicely said I talk about my $$$ on here to much, he was very cool, i told him there was a reason, here is my reason, 1. i'm proud of what i did rags to riches-who wouldnt be. but more importantly i know its boaring for regulars, i never try and put it in anyones face, i'm a grounded regular guy that dresses bad and aint fancy, the reason i mention the $$$ is people come and go, I want to create a charcter-myself(online) like Tooth has in the pool rooms. I was doing this with the intent of this show. not to make people feel lessere than me cause nobody is, i aint nobody special, i dont count other peoples $$$ i base who i like on who they are not $$$, color, well a nice azz helps ifyour a girl
back to business, were getting a camera-i'm buying one and comming to a pool room near you, i need serious charcters not actors on taape, like Rudedog said"i'm going down swinging" they aint gonna close the door on us-pool players that fast.
