If Eric doesnt have one I like the dvd player but the laptop could serve as both. I vote for the puter......

TAR=You guys encompas only the good things about pool. You rock and I Terry would be overjoyed by that.
 
I'm in for $50 and really like the laptop idea. HUGE kudos for TAR for their DVD contributions. WOW!

Terry is such a great man and a major part of the reason AZB is family - and it's very evident by the outpouring of support.

The outpouring of support for Terry both public and private has been amazing. I think the only thing everybody on the forum agrees on is that everybody that knows him even a little bit likes Terry.

The hardest thing so far is keeping up with all of the PM's and messages!

I might can help get a 10% discount from WalMart if yall choose to buy a laptop from them. It would take me getting the money and going but people like iba7467 and J&D Customs would vouch for me as well.
 
I really hope everything goes ok for Terry. Although I don't know him he is definitely inspiration through his unheralded kindness and thoughtful messages on this site.

I wish there was something I could do but I am strapped at this point.

My wife is battling cancer at this moment and still recovering from surgery just a couple of weeks ago. We meet with her oncologist on Monday the 24th and will get a better idea of her treatment plan. We have 2 kids that I also tend to while I continue my college education. And I take care of my grandfather. I have learned one thing through this trying time and that is I never really knew how much my wife actually did on a daily basis. Just knowing all the things she did was enough to make my head spin aside from me taking over for her. Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers,


GET WELL TERRY!! He would be happy to know how many friends he has on this little old forum!!

im driving to Vegas today and will be on the raod for the next 4.5 hours. I looked here at home in LA and all I have are 2 real old tiny Sony machines, neither are good for him, they are used up. I called my office and the laptops we used there by the IT dept, they are MIA, I caslled my biz partner and he like I do just gave his old one away and left the other good one on his boat when he sold it.


So lets buy him a nice new one with a built in internet card and a blu-ray DVD player, I can do only $200 right now, If I was breaking even I would just buy it for him.


Let me know who to send the $200 to, I can posibley go $300 if its a deal breaker, I love Terry he was so good to me when I was sick in germany. I really would like to buy it for him, but I just cant now.

I will keep having my office dig around while i'm driving today, i will double check the sony's I have that are old. Etc, So by the end of today, I will know for sure. sorry i'm rambling on , just busy here getting ready to go.


Terry must own every ASccustat video ever, so I think JCIN's plan of the TAR video's to go with the laptop is perfect, there is more hours of great matches there than Terry will have time to watch, thanks JCIN-if you need something on that let me know.

long day today

I planned to get information to everyone this evening or tonight but I just made it in from an all day trip and still have to go out again in a little bit. I will try to get everything moving by day's end tomorrow at the latest. A lot of PM's to send and I see I have to empty my box again first.

The plan is a laptop plus DVD's; TAR is giving a full set of theirs, outstanding on their part. That should keep Terry busy awhile so I am just going to send him the left over cash and tell him to buy whatever pool related DVD's tickle his fancy.
