Test for AZ'ers from Perfect Aim..........

Have you ever seen me play...THE ANSWER IS NO, so you just talking smack.....

If you put me on ignore you might miss learning something. I did not Geno Wisdom to fire out my weak side, and I improve it be practice.

You are TRAVIS TROTTER, aren't you?

I didn't take it as a blatant pitch, either. I took it as an easy way to help people determine on their own which is their "bad" side. Then they can work on improving it, account for it, and be aware of it while playing. Makes perfect sense to me. (Whether I can take advantage of all that is a whole other story  )

And yes, the man does sell a product that is supposed to help with those issues. And yes, if one were to use this drill and discovered a difference in one eye or the other, they might consider his product further. I don't think thats a bad thing, and it wasn't beating us over the head about it.

At least to me, and I'm in the sales business. I've seen hard-sell, and this ain't it.

Thanks for the drill, Geno. I'm gonna try and arrange time to try it.

In addition to Gene's top selling video, Gene is a TOP PLAYER and he is sharing pool tips on this forum that can improve your game.

Until now I haven't really spoken out againt Cocobolo Cowboy but he appears to be trying to get Gene banned from this forum. I don't want that because I continue to learn from Gene and don't want to see that happen. I seldom read other forums and would regret missing Gene's posts. You never know when he is going to throw out one of those SOLID GOLD POOL TIPS.

Cocobolo Cowboy has NEVER said ANYTHING that has improved my game and his reference/insinuation that my layout of Gene's shot is stolen from Freddy the Beard's banking book is just stupid stuff. Furthermore, he puts it in a link and people who don't click on the links don't get a chance to read a little press for Freddy the Beard.

If anyone needs to have the muzzle put on him, it's CocoBolo Cowboy.

Hi Gene,

I’m right eye dominant and I find it easier cutting to the left. In fact I tend to overcut to the left and right cuts tend to be undercut.
If I’m going to miss a shot than 90% would be by going too much to the left. Any thoughts?

My telling shot

The shot below was my worst shot. I could make it no problem cutting to the right, but cutting it to the left I'd miss it by a diamond all the time.

Hi there,

You sound like you know what you are talking about. There are about 4 or 5 things that could be going on. To write them out here would take too long. Plus it would be difficult to understand. Sometimes with my video it is hard for players to understand but the phone call with one on one usually always clears things up.

Give me a call and I will try to clear this up some for you. At least I can lead you in the right direction and you will understand why this is happening to you. Be by a pool table when you call.

Have a great day geno....... 715-563-8712

Hi there,

How did it feel cracking the top 16 players this year at the US Open?

And beating some of the top players in the world.

Thanks for the input. It works..................

...

I honestly am tired of Geno's Infomercials to sell another Perfect Aiming DVD on the Main Forum, think if he want to post something For Sale it should be here The Wanted/For Sale Sub-Forum.

So, when did the Clown become the Forum Cop?

Coco, maybe if you didn't spend so much time worrying about who put what thread where, you wouldn't miss the FREE ADVICE!

Sorry, I don't have a problem with either side with this shot. I don't have a preference either so the dominant eye thing isn't going to work with me. Set that sucker up in reverse, make it an actual tough shot, then you'll see where the dominant eye comes into play. With the layout I put up, I'll miss more shooting from the right side than from the left. But, I already know this, so what's the point? Don't give me a bunch of crap telling me where my problem is, I already know that. Tell me how to fix it and I'll be impressed......but that probably costs something.

CueTable Help

Hi there,

First of all if you don't set up the shot and really try to aim it good 20 or 25 times you don't even know if you have a problem one way or the other. I have given 100's of aiming lessons and most player, you could be the exception, don't even know until they try to shoot it both way that they struggle one way or the other.

Everyone has a dominent eye. We naturally get this eye in a pretty close position to see the shot. The problem is with many shots there are many optical illusions in pool with round balls and angles and it is really tough to get them in the right position on certain shots.

The shot that you set up is even more important to have the eyes in the correct position. This used to be one of my toughest shots but now I play shape for this one and you could too.

As you say you already know you have trouble cutting one way more than the other. I have the answer and have helped so many players improve their games already.

If you don't want to spend the money on the Perfect Aim video borrow one from someone. There's 100's of them out there already.

I've already talked to about 10 AZers since I started this thread and with a 5 minute conversation told them how they can correct the problem and they could see the results right away. It's not something you have to work at for 6 months and maybe get some results. The see the results right away.

Give me a call and I'll help you get on the right track. If what I tell you is bull---- you can get on here and tell the world. If not though it would be nice if you got on here and told them that also.

We got a deal. Give me a call. 715-563-8712 Geno

Make sure you are by a pool table when you call me............

Coco, maybe if you didn't spend so much time worrying about who put what thread where, you wouldn't miss the FREE ADVICE!

He has fallen into the "I can't hang with you people who actually put thought into your posts, so I am going to become the forum police" category. There are several people on here who have taken this route.

I hear through the rumor mill that Coco's new book will be listed on here soon: "Worthless Posts on Pool Forums They Don't Want You to Know About". But of course it will be in the wanted/for sale section only.

I'm tired of people getting on Geno saying "I am sick of seeing this advertisement to buy his video"

Firstly the man is not posting 16 threads saying buy my video if anything he is giving out a TON of free advice and has sent out FREE copies of the video to try and help people who wanted to be helped. He has posted his phone number for people to call and talk with him for help/advice. The man is adding to the wealth of knowledge on this forums. If you are that bothered skip the post and be on your merry way. Stop trying to influence others form getting some free advice and possibly buying a DVD that may help them. (on that topic can't remember the last post were Geno said buy my DVD then I'll help you like MANY other people have on this forum!!)

If what he is saying in this post is easy for you and you can make each shot 100 times in a row with out missing guess what?? YOU DON'T NEED AIMING HELP so move on and leave the man to help others who are not as good as you are.

Here is a little story for all of you to ponder and figure out what the morale is:
*A factory owner one day makes a phone call to a machine repair shop. The owner says "Please send someone over quickly, my Assembly line stopped working and I am losing money by it being offline" The repairman shows up within 10 minutes and talks to the owner. The owner tells the repairman that the Assembly line is shutdown. The repairman walks over to the power box on the wall, opens the little door and turns a screw and the Assembly line is back up and running. The repairman hands the owner a bill for $2,000. The owner freaks out and says "HOLY HELL!!! $2,000!! you were here for 10 minutes and turned a screw!!! show me how this costs $2,000 dollars!" The repairman takes back the bill and writes out an itemized version and hands it back to the owner. The owner reads the bill ad it says: 10 minutes of work cost $10, turning the screw cost $10, knowing what screw to turn cost $1,980"

Ahhh hell.....here goes. I probably need my head examined for saying this, but I find some agreement with what CC is saying here. Yes the arguement can be made that Geno is simply trying to pass on knowledge and not blatantly hawking a product, but seeing repeated posts by him with regards to his system and explanations suggesting that the current tip of the day is merely a sample of what he has to offer, does draw suspect to his underlying intentions......Dan

So he should share his full knowledge for free? Like all the other people who made DVD's are on here posting everything for free form their videos?

Geno is helping out people who need the help and sending some of them free copies of the DVD so they can see first hand what it has to offer. He makes posts helping people to figure out what is their dominant eye and how they can tell where there may have a problem. He has basically explained so much and offered a lot of free advice. It's up to those people to decide if they want to buy the DVD. Geno is the nicest guys you'd ever talk too. He loves pool and loves to talk pool. He has a passion for the game and loves to teach.

I'm not naming names, but some "big wigs" on here when I asked for help simply said to me "buy my DVD, it'll help you" umm ok why? why buy their DVD, what's in it? how is it going to help me, care to give some info on it? reply back from them "Buy the DVD and you'll see" wow that's so helpful. I don't see there phone number posted on the forums saying to give them a call and they'll talk to you about what problems you may be having and how they might be able to help you all before you spend a nickle on the DVD. Guess what Geno does and people STILL dog him? it's sickening

Geno stepped up and helped me out when I needed it and didn't ask me for a dollar. It's the nay sayers and antagonists that drive good people like Geno from these forums who can actually help someone improve their game and replace them with some of our more "Colorful Clowns" (guess who that is!..yup Coconut Cowgirl)

Perfect Aiming System

Geno, I sure am glad I read this thread tonight, otherwise I would still be in the dark like I have been for 39 years about why I undercut some of my shots, I've never given this righteye/lefteye a thought, but I can clearly see it now.

I'm left eye dominate, so I have alittle more trouble with cutting balls to the right , unlesss I stroke the ball several more times to see the correct sight picture, after reading this I can use your method to play shape for lefteye shots when it may apply, like say the game ball,( most important one on the table) say its out in the middle of the table, shape for it accordingly, very simple to do that for my dominante eye!

Just by doing this I should improve my winning percentage by leaps and bounds.

I'm tickeled to death, this is just the edge I have been waiting for!

If it only gives me an extra 3 wins out of 50 games that I may have lost, thats a 6 game swing, makes a Huge difference, and it just may turn into a larger games won than that.

Thank you for sharing the information!:thumbup2:

I've had my head examined and while it isn't what you would call in pristine shape, it's functional so I will post again.

It seems kind of silly for anyone to make an argument about Geno offering a FREE pool tip of the day because he has other information that he is selling.

That is the way the world works. At least Geno is providing the forum with "pool tips of the day" that we would otherwise never see (at least some of us).

There are quite a few people who REGULARLY dangle the carrot in front of needy forum members and it all comes at a price.

The truth is if you don't like Geno's posts, you can click on User CP (Control Panel), go down to Edit Ignore List, and add ANY MEMBER TO YOUR IGNORE LIST. That way you won't be able to see their posts.

Heck, I may make a thread all to itself. There are new people coming on board all of the time and they should learn about some of the features available to help manage their time.

I've never put anyone on the Ignore List yet and I've been here for quite a while. It's crossed my mind when I get irritated with someone's posts but I figure that sooner or later that person will make a post that will interest me, make me laugh or benefit me in some way and that has been true for almost every poster on this forum.
