Texas Open Theft

My longtime friend's truck was broken into at the Texas Open Sept.2 at Round Rock. He lost 7 cues, Toshiba Platinum laptop, personal items and prescriptions in overnite bag, and personal papers in small leather briefcase. He is offering a sizeable reward ( 4 figures no 1's) for their return no questions asked. My friend is a longtime supporter of the game ($$) and friend to everyone in the pool scene in Texas and elsewhere. The most distinctive cue stolen was an early 90's Schon ltd. double spliced ivory and green veneered points (12 or 16). The green veneer really stands out against the ivory points. Also lost: 90's Bludworth, maple front w/ebony 4-point & ivory inlay, a six-point Woodworth, 1 Olivier break-jump & 2 custom Olivier. wow - that sucks. what area was he parked in by chance? my friend's truck was also broken into when her truck was on the street behind G Cue, but that was several years ago on a week night.
 
He is one of the good guys and it's a shame that things like this happen. We made an announcement about the theft and a description of the items taken at the Fast Eddie's Tour stop this weekend in San Antonio.

Hopefully, we will see a response soon.

I sure hope this helps somehow. The man is just absolutely one of the greatest guys you could ever meet.

Might want to try calling all pawn shops within a 100 mile radius. If it was just a random thing that's the first place they will end up. If someone targeted him my guess is these cues will not show up for a very long time if at all. A guy I used to know had his Richard Black stolen and I found it in a pawn shop months later. Then a friend of mine had his car broken into and two cues stolen but we never found them. This is why at tournaments my cue never leaves my side no matter how many I have with me. The car is a very bad place to leave things at any tournament. Hope you find them.
