I want to thank Cory for coming to south dakota for playing a good challenge match.. I also want to thank Billiards Congress of America (Mark Griffin) for bringing Billy Incardona, and grady mathews in SD for the comentary. Also want to thank The Diamond company (greg sullivan) for bringing a brand new table for me and cory. Playing against corey is considered the toughest match I play so far... I totally respect cory as a professional player. He handle himself very well and he is class act. by far I think that cory is a great player and hes allways a champion and looking forward to play him again in the future. I want to thank Theactionreport.com for all the work they have done for the match... I also want to thank all the people in southdakota and Azbilliards people for the support of me and cory during the match.. I notice that I will be playing against Earl Strickland in the future. I have allways wanted to play against Earl since I was a kid and I know he is a true champion and looking forward to play against the best..... Thank you.. shane

Numerous punctuation and grammatical errors...he IS human!:D

J/K Shane. Fantastic playing. You really had me wondering if you were human or not for long stretches of play.

Keep up the good work (and my vcash is on YOU next time!)

MM...still looking for that walking stick!

Tammy, no question you provided a loving enviroment for Shane to grow up in. I was referring to what he had to go through just to learn to speak and communicate with other kids. The support of his family was essential to helping him accomplish what he has. Congratulations on a fine job of raising a good man.

In our family we have a similar person, who has never really overcome her handicap. At some point, she gave up trying to cope with it, and stays home for the most part. I am well aware of what he must have gone through to be able to excel in life as he has.

That's unfortunate that your family member approuches her situation like that. When Shane was growing up we kept the handicap label away from our situation. There was alot of extra work, but again, if it was not for the circumstanses, Shane's abilities would not have been so sharp at such a young age. I guess that is the responsibility of everyone, to always focus on your abilities, and to channel your talents. This is how we all succeed, if we choose. I apoligize for being defensive, I'm proud of Shane. Timi Bloomberg

As you should be. Hell, I'm proud of him and I've only met him twice. The first time he said "anyone in Colorado's got the 7". A couple of our best tried him out and didn't like it. It's hard not to bet on him after you've seen him play.

Thanks Shane

Shane, congratulations on your impressive victory. You are definately a class act. The BCA Pool League is very proud to be a part of your success. We couldn't have chosen a better person to sponsor. Not to mention that you can play a little as well! Bill Stock

Speaking as an hearing-impaired person who loves to play pool and had a mom who was an avid pool fan, I relate to Shane and his situation very well. I saw him play in Los Angeles and also exchanged a humorous set of messages with him relating that I thought I was the best hearing-impaired player. He replied back saying no way ! lol.:D Also, I have known Jay for sometime now and always enjoy conversing with him on the various pool ongoings since he has an easy-going manner. :) The support system in place with the family and friends in the pool world such as Jay parallels mine, and I feel that Shane will take a straight and true path. I look forward to meeting him in person one day. Congrats on the pool achievements and to the family for steering him straight ;)

Shane, Congratulations. Wish I would have seen you in Great Falls this spring (gossip was you were going to be there --- would have liked to see a match up with you and Tyler Edey or Edwin Mondel). Maybe next year;)

Shane,

This is 'old lefty from Huron' and great win by the way...next time we play I'll play you even....hehehe (inside joke)....:)

Congrats Shane! I have only met you a few times and every time it has been a pleasure.
I was in Atlanta when you won a ring game with a number of pros playing in it Cory included. I hope you keep up the great play for I am one of your biggest fans. You are always a pleasure to watch.
Ohh, and great job MOM (Timi)!

Kudos to Shane...and Timi? You have every right to be proud! :)

(edit) I had a hearing impaired Aunt who I loved early. One of her great talents was to turn off her hearing aid when family disputes broke out.

nice one shane and nice gesture with the post. you're developing into a great great player. wishin you all the best. except in your match with earl lol, he's my hero. you better not beat him!

Great play Shane, You are exactly the kind of player pool needs now and forever. Now we need to get the word out to the rest of the world

Thanks also to Diamond, BCA League and The Action Report and all associated with making this happen.

Congrats, Shane. It seemed like you got here quicker than I thought. That was some world class playing and attitude there. Good luck against Earl. Is it true that you are playing Jesse again this month? Awesome!! That is always a great match.

Shane, do you plan to attend the DCC in Jan. would like to see you play in person. Again, like everyone else said in this post, congratulations to both you and Cory for a great match. Good luck in the future.
