I just want to say thank you to Mike Athens and Mark Oleslager the owner of big dog billiards for setting up the event for me and jesse B. The set up was really nice for all the people to watch and everyone looks like they had a great time at the event...Me and jesse had a good time and it was alot of fun.. Thank you for the support at the event and looking forward to play again in the future......shane:cool:

Congrats Sir!!
How long do you think it is going to take before Jesse finally throws his hat into the ring and hits the road with you and turns pro.

Thanks for coming Shane, it was a pleasure to watch you play in person. I hope you will be able to come back to Des Moines again. -Jason

Really enjoyed watching you play Shane. You're a classy looking guy and you handle yourself very well at the table. I was really impressed by your game and by your demeanor.

I hope to be "hangin out" more with, and learning more from, Little Joe and Adam in the months ahead so maybe I'll have the pleasure of meeting you.

I'll tell you. I've never met a poolplayer like Shane. This kid has CLASS!

Mark Oleslager is the 1990 ACU-I Collegiate Champion. Its interesting to see how some of the collegiate champions continue to be involved in the sport long after their graduation.

I was impressed when Shane publicly thanked Corey after the Action Challenge. This thread is icing on the cake.

It really is a breath of fresh air to see someone of the (demonstrated) class of Shane rising to the top of the pool world. Maybe by his example others will conduct themselves in the same business-like manner Shane does. Shane's refined style can attract investment in the game.

Momma Van Boening has much to be proud of. She has done a great job of raising a good man...with good midwestern sensibility.

Thank you for making the trip down. My kids were also happy that they were able to get a picture with you.

Thank you Shane.

Everyone is always talking about what's needed to take pocket billiards to the next level. Well, Shanes's demonstrated attitude and demeanor sets a classic example. This is who I would want out there representing the sport to the non-believers. He sets the example of what sportsmanship , in this sport, can be versus how it is currently viewed.
Thank you Shane...
