Hi, I hardly ever post here, in fact I hardly even play pool any more, but I just finished watching the replay of the Efren-SVB TAR 1-pocket match and it was just so damn unbelievable that I needed to say something. One of the best, most exciting and entertaining sporting events I've seen in a long time.

I know that pool is kinda going through a tough time, but I can't help but think that with players like Shane and Efren, and promoters like the guys at TAR putting together these amazing events, eventually the sport is going to get the break it needs.
 
And some people think a set of one pocket will not sell enough PPVs, cmon get with it. Played at the top level it is fantastic to watch and a race to 8 can be over in 4 hours which is not too bad with games averaging roughly 15-20 minutes. :smile:

I have been saying the same thing for a while now. I hope this will make them and others at least give it a shot.
It has to be the best players or it wont work,
Watching bad or even ok one pocket is not great and will not sell.
At a high level it is much better then watching 2 guys break the same pattern and run out,

The only players on tar at top players
So it will be just fine to play 1 pocket
