I was shooting around a little this afternoon at City Pool Hall here in Chicago this afternoon, and who should walk by the table but none other than Scott Lee himself! We played for about two hours maybe and even though he didn't have to, he was constantly providing advice and showing me things that reminded me how valuable lessons are. This game may seem simple in many ways, but there are so many things that you can only learn by someone showing them to you.

I have been in a rut, businesswise for the last few months and this morning, I just signed the w-4's for a new job that I am extremely excited about and start Monday. When I get the real dollars flowing again, the first thing I will treat myself to is another lesson by Scott. (I took one from him almost two years ago. I was an APA three then and now I'm a six.)

Scott didn't have to play, chat with me or anything, but he spent almost all of our time together helping me with my game. Very cool guy and a natural teacher. It was one of those times that make you feel really good about the game of pool and the people who play it. :D
 
my first post in like a year. Just wanted to second your thoughts on scott. if you are ever up north, lets play
 
daPoet...I really enjoyed it too! Really glad to hear that things are looking up for you, with the new job, etc. We'll get together again whenever you're ready...you know how to find me!:D

Scott, would you be interested in coming to Memphis for my viewing party of "3 Cushion Grandmaster" on August 7? I want a day of lessons. After I take the bar I'm going to focus some on raising my regular game to the next level. Plus, it can't hurt my already satisfactory artistic game. If you came through, I could put you up for the night and work all day on the 8th, for instance. Just a thought. Besides, you owe me! ;) lol

I, too was lucky enough to be able to play with Scott this week in Chicago. I snuck out of work for a longish (3+ hour) lunch break at GCue where we played 3 cushion and shot the breeze. Always a pleasure.

I'm thinking maybe we shouldn't ban this guy just yet.:D

He can help himself, he has a complusion to help people improve. :)
 
Good teachers like to teach, great teachers love to teach and find themselves teaching all the time cause they love to see their students learn. Scott and Randy are both great teachers!!
