Glen made is way to Northern California after major bouts with snow in Las Vegas then in Southern Oregon. He arrived on January 1st.
I have to say that Glen is no doubt the best Table Mechanic on the planet (IMO)! I know that Glen was great just from reading his posts over the past couple years on AZ but I had no idea that he was such a perfectionist. He would not leave my table in the state it was in. WOW!
It took Glen several days to fix my table. It was in a bad way in almost every way - mismatched rails (GC1 and GC2), loose frame bolts, loose screws at the end of the rails (I don't know the official name). AND Gandy slates on my Gold Crown 1 !!! Plus the table was unplayable due to several other factors and Glen took the time to make the table as good as it can be.
The table is absolutely perfect now!!! I really can't say enough positive things about Glen. He explained everything to me while he was extending the sub-rails and taking out all the misplaced shims when he was leveling the slates. No one can ever match how tight he can stretch cloth - my God!!!!! You have to see it to believe it!!!
Anyway - thank you Glen from the bottom of my heart for doing what really needed to be done with a great sense of humor. I had a great time!!!
Thanks Glen!!!!!!!! and thinks for teaching me to cook!!!!! Plus he let me win a couple games of One Pocket which I enjoyed!!!
