OK, everyone, even the hard core KT haters have positive things they like about the IPT, so what are the top 3 things you like about the IPT outside the huge money (which might have been too much too soon anyway) and we all like huge money, thats a given.

1. A distinct number of touring pros, a pro tour with only members of the tour playing all stops and include a few opens. 125-150 players you can follow and watch and be sure they play in all the stops. I dislike the mis mash tours with anyone able to enter, pool needs full time tour with pro's on one tournament trail.

2. Lots of statistics, something you can follow during matches and have a record kept for each tournament and a yearly total, also records for personal best, highest B&R avg. winning % etc. Something the other tours have lacked.

3. The great camera crews and post production that A. Smith & co. brings to the table.

.

3 things

1) Well, when it first came into being, it was like a dream come true.....the idea of a real pro tour with enough money from some rich benefactor to facilitate an opportunity for a pro player to make a decent living....although the payout structure could be less top-heavy....I'm still revelling in the dream....

2) The format, revenue, and venue to attract all the best pool players (and even snooker players) in the world to compete on a regular basis...

3) The respect that was shown to the Hall of Famers at their first tournament and the continuing respect for the pro players at the tournaments, what with the setup of the "Green Room", and the classy venue I saw at the Reno Tournament....

I hope it continues........

1) I like the words.

2) I like the music and rhythm.

3) It's easy to dance to.

Doug
( I give it a 60, but I wouldn't buy it )

1) A tour that puts the players on center stage with Primetime TV exposure, and live internet broadcasts.

2) A format that promotes the mentally and physically fit Player, with the ability to overcome a loss or two throughout the event.

3) From what I hear the Players Buffet is excellent.

1. The format that allows the best players to reach the top consistently.
2. The online coverage.
3. All the best players playing in one tour. (eventually)

1) KT's suits - Always choice and fresh
2) Deno's skin complexion - Where can I get me some of his moisturizer?
3) The upcoming Rackmsuckr/Mike Sigel cage fight that will be kicking off the Chicago tournament. I don't care that Linda's giving up weight, I'll give anyone odds on her taking him down inside 3 rounds.

1) timely payouts

2) an owner that is more dishonest than any of the players

3) played in cities with great whores

I have given maybe 2 bad reps (other than to Cuetechasauras) the whole time I have posted here. But I had to give one to you. To stink up a thread with that trash, that was asking for only positives is disrespectful to the person who started the thread and to all the readers that wanted truthful positive responses.

Your #3 response shows just what class you bring to this thread.

My Top picks:

1. Gorgeous venues, the like never having been seen before with pool tables gracing their rooms.

2. Consideration of the players AT the tournaments - the Green Room, the massages, embroidered bag and food.

3. The quality staff people...for instance, always called me Ms. Carter. (
I made them do it just to hear them say it, lol :p )

4. The cool IPT merchandise, posters, etc.

5. The respect they showed for the legends by blowing up their pictures as backdrops to the games.

6. Looking at 50 tables and finding a champion at each one.

7. The awesome scoring

8. The qualifiers being in my back yard, so that we can attend and watch more great pool locally.

OK, those are just off the top of my head. Gotta go clean out my PM's.

PS - Aunty Dan and Tammie - you guys are funny!

I'm glad you have no sense of humor. Here are my 4,5, and 6:

4) Owner is a known felon

5) IPT gave people that can't make 3 balls in row a chance to feel important

6) played in cities with great sluts

The three things I like best about the IPT:

1) They have respect for the legends of the game. A guaranteed $30,000 payout at the King of the Hill event for Hall of Famers. At tournament venues, great pictures of the legends of the game everywhere you look.

2) A format that ensures that only the truly elite can reach the late stages.

3) The best website in pool history.

1. The aura of pool being a celebrated and classy sport.
2. The players being treated like world class athletes
3. The action - stats, live scoring and the live matches!

Hope it continues.

1. Real Pool
2. Real Rules
3. Real Money

I guess you should have made it 5 things to keep the smartalecs like me quiet...

Seriously.....it was fun tv, with a huge amount of talent all in one tourney.
I loved the Earl Meltdown, Kieth McCready's honestly and the little back stories in the first season. I am interested in seeing Hohmanns final on tv. I haven't really followed it on their website.

McCue Banger McCue

Players making money they deserve.
All the Stats
High Production quality of events and broadcasts.

other things I like:

Watching Pros play 8-ball
The Player interviews and behind the scenes stuff of the TV broadcasts

Is there any good reason you are deliberately starting negative issues?

By no means was I starting negative issues. I was only trying to bring a little humor to the recent forum issues about the IPT. I got a lot of positive rep for it.

You should know that it also generated emails of complaint too.

I understand humor, just try not to make it personal in nature.
