Bummer, I'm out then.:( I don't even have it on my machine (macintosh).
Sorry about that. I just put boot camp(free) and XP(not free :D ) on my MacBook Pro and so far it works great. Comes in pretty handy for some things. If you are a true pool fan it is a small sacrifice to make :D

I tried our stream with the mac and firefox and it was a no go. Have not tried it with Safari. The stream uses Windows Media Player, in IE7 it is the nuts.

goto www.bandwidthplace.com they offer a free speed test that can be used 3 times a month.

I am sure Justin knows the the minimum requirements needed on his end. Maybe he can post them and then everyone can goto this site and see if their connection will support the feed.

I should be good to go Download- 5.2 megabits per second, upload 580 kilobytes per second.

Yeah, you will probably squeek by:D

We are tweaking the Stream speeds now. So far we have tested between 150 and 350kbs both look good.We will probably run 2 streams a high and a low. Windows Media Player connects to one stream or the other depending on your connection.

any idea if the dvd's will be available true AZ forum and at what price?

i dont have time to sit 2 days in front of my desk. what if i have to to go to the toilet!!! i might miss a rack!!!

no seriously, looking forward to the dvd.

We are putting the band back together!!!!

Thanks to Mark Griffin and the BCA pool leagues we are proud to announce that for The First Action Challenge we will have the most popular commentating duo in history in the box to make the call.

Billy Incardona and Grady Mathews will be in the box to call The Action Challenge!!!!

These two Legends are known as two of the most experienced and entertaining commentators in pool history. There informative and humorous interaction is known throughout the pool world. These guys are the best. They are going to add to everyone's entertainment and education over the course of this great event.

We want to thank Billy and Grady for taking the time out of their busy lives to come and help us with this event. These guys are the best and I can't wait for September 14th.

Once again thanks go to Mark Griffin and the BCA Pool Leagues for making this happen.

Because this is such a long event we may have a third commentator coming in to help with the heavy lifting.....stay tuned...I think you may like it. :D

Good Job! Everyone involved!

Tap tap..

Maybe if were luky, after Cory gets the dough, then Billy will play Shane some even 1 hole for another 10K. I know how both of them play right now and I think it is very close.

Any chance you'd let some of us test it from our locations to give you as much feedback as we can pre-match?

I am supposed to have 2mb download but it's more like 56k at best. When I browse Chinese websites it rocks but when I try to go to the USA for any bandwidth intensive stuff like YouTube or Streaming radio then it's hit or miss at best, mostly miss. :-(

But I am going to tweak this bad boy out - i jsut got a new computer dual core - bad ass graphics card - 22" monitor - so now I am going to try and figure out to tweak it out to get them out my DSL connection.

Sometimes I hit servers in the USA where the download speeds are rocking. Well anyway thanx for the info and congrats on getting Grady & Billy in the box. Maybe you can get them in the box for real on Action Challenge II

Commentators

You hit the jack pot getting Grady and Billy as your commentators. You couldn't have done any better IMO and I've enjoyed those 2 working together for years on Accu-stats. I'm looking forward to your event and it should be outstanding......

thank you....

We have plans to do a pre match show with the same exact feed as the Pay Per View for free in order to let people see what is going to look like before they make the decision to buy. That way if they don't like it or it will not work for them they will know without spending any money and we get a more realistic test.
