I agree Mark! Anyone that has run a rack of 9 ball will surely love this game. And their game will improve significantly.

It may be called "a league" but IMO it's not in the traditional sense. You call your opponent and schedule when you both will play. One on one, one match per week; 7 weeks in a row before the regional playoff, with 100% payout. :thumbup:

Right. I view it as a round-robin tournament, with the top 4 of the 8 from each room advancing to the next level.

That's exactly how I see it; a 512 player (when full) national tournament that starts without all the travel time and expenses.
Rd 1 Local 8 person round robin (7 matches)
Rd 2 Regional 4 person round robin (3 matches)
Rd 3 Regional single elim (1-3 matches)
Rd 4 National 4-8 person round robin (3-7 matches)
Rd 5 National Single elim (1-4 matches)
