The Anti-Ebony cue - Curly Maple on Steroids

Hello,

Here is a cue a little bit different of what you are used to see...

I call it the anti-ebony cue or curly maple on steroids

Very hard to photograph but I will try to get some better pictures tomorrow.

The shafts are not pictured because they still need one last pass and clear coat. The jp still needs to be cleared as well.

This cue is going to Jeff (AZB Ogre4905) in Maryland and should ship within a few days.

The forearm is cored with purpleheart and the handle and butt sleeve is cored with an old and super dense bowling alley maple dowel.

That is exactly what I had pictured when I called you. Now I can't wait to see it in person. And I love the title of the thread

It's funny you named your cue that Tony....can't imagine you ever using jet black gaboon ebony on your cues...

Nice curly maple! my favorite wood!

Great woods, Tony.
Do you have any more crazy curly maple left?
We might need to talk. :grin-square:

I thought it was going to be one of those rare super black curls in ebony that are so black you can't see them.

Great wood, fantastic cue you got there.

Tony,

Very clean and elegant cue from your diverse wood library.

I love your attitude toward cue making and your sense of style.

Tony,

Everyone's always talking about your wood selection and well-planned out designs...and how beautiful the wood is...and how great the figures are in the wood...and your superb finish...but I'm not going to...I refuse to conform...

I like your bumper!

Jason

p.s. Loved the thread title as well! ;)

Thanks for the super cool comments guys. There a few surprises coming soon.
