The best drill I know of is: Stroking into a bottle end, showed to me by Willie Mosconi when I was 8 years old. Still use it when I feel my stroke is slipping.

My game is still in the novice stage. I expect that some of these answers can and will change over time.

Yeah, loosen the grip was a big one for me.

The single best tip I learned was: Realizing I wasn't hitting the cb where I thought I was and correcting it.

There are several here. Dr. Dave and Bob Jewetts material, and aiming systems.

To really focus and pay attention to details while still shooting with the subconscious. Being "aware".

The single best tip I learned was:
Can't break it down to just one. There have been so many on here. But, if I had to say one, then it would probably be "practice like you play, and play like you practice."

The best drill I know of is: Billiard University and The Gauntlet are both great ones that I have done from info on here. There have been many drills posted on here throughout the years. Some for general use, some for specific goals. Any drill that helps you is a good drill.

edit: There is so much knowledge in these forums that anyone that says they haven't learned anything just isn't reading much or trying to learn anything.
