Not just in this thread, but I really hope that the crew of AZB sees all the love & accolades they are given on a daily basis here in numerous posts!

It goes without saying how much you all are sincerely appreciated! Thanks for the super site you provide for us!

Thanks to Mike, Jerry, Brandy, Mr. Wilson, and all the rest that help bring us the #1 Pool & Billiard site in the world. Johnnyt

Just so everyone knows. Melinda (AKA Trigger) has been working with Mike Howerton on AZ Billiards for many, many years.

I display my AZB keychain on my case proudly! I'm also happy to be a member, even though the incentive for my joining was a raffle. :sorry:

I'd be happy to join again just to show my appreciation for the wealth of information provided on this site ... nothing compares to the level of expert contribution combine with newbie input combined with drama!

A "double cost" raffle would be a great idea to increase membership imho ... something where $15 bucks a spot would be the break even point for the cue or cue/case combo but for $40-50 you get a chance at the cue/case combo and a 1 year re-up on your membership (only one spot allowed per person). While I loved participating in the last raffle like this, I felt guilty that the people donating their items didn't get any return. I understand what it was all about(so I guess they did get a return after all!), but would love to see a donater/AZB site split for the next one. :)

Just my thoughts... mostly though, just wanted to add my thanks for keeping this great site going!

AZB is the NUTZ... I support it every which way I can.

Thanx for making a great site. :clapping: :clapping: :clapping:

Add my thanks to the list. These good people work harder than we can imagine, especially when having to put up with members like me.
Therefore, in order to make this forum a better place for our members, and life more tolerable for our administrators, I hereby promise to cease and desist all made-up stories, bad jokes, and non-pool related commentary. No more inane observations about life at the home. No more midgets. No more elephants.
And to show you that I am sincere in what I say I shall no longer go by the name Tramp Steamer, but will be using my middle name Gary, instead.
Thank you.

This site has taken a lot of work over a long period of time, and I, for one, appreciate all that has gone into it to make it possible. It is the best Pool site and forum on the internet.

Thanks all for making it happen.

I also would like to extend my appreciation and thanks to Mike and company for such a great web site.

The very first day I signed up I was having a unique registration issue and Mike fixed it post-haste! It was then quite obvious to me that he cares about the members which inspired me to sign up for a one-year membership- it was the least I could do.

Again, many thanks to Mike and all of the AZB staff for running such a great web site.

Thanks to this site, I'm very unproductive at work... but I've learned a lot, and have been entertained quite a bit!

I love this site, thanks to all that make it happen!

Always nice to get kudos. Thank you for all the awesome comments!

Melinda (AZB Staff)

I heard that at the Spirit Tour final or maybe it was the RTC 7-8 years ago and then never heard it said again so i thought it was BS. One of the best kept secrets in pool.

Anyway Thanks Melinda.

I can't believe I missed this thread. Thanks for the awesome site, I hope it continues to grow. I hope to meet some AZers some day as well out in Vegas, one of the bigger Des Moines tournaments, or possibly one of the cue shows. Thanks again!

Thanks, Nostroke! Yes, on the contact page is me, Jerry, and Mike. :) I fully admit Mike and Jerry are the active partners of AZB now and do most of the work for sure! I helped more in the beginning - you know, WAY back when, lol.

Hope you are doing well!

Thanks guys! I was lucky to meet both Mike and Jerry personally at one World Pool Champs in Manila. They are great people and strong professionals.
Thanks for AZB!!!

Trigger is too modest. She is always there with the info we need when we need it and helps out in too many ways to count. Thanks to her and all the rest of our mostly volunteer staff!

But I have an apology to make to an unknown member. I use Gmail and cannot find the email that I responded to so negatively last week. (Gmail just loses some stuff for me.) But I was suffering some complications from a minor surgery, had just been food poisoned in Canada and also had a sinus infection. I was sick as a dog. Still, no excuse. A gentleman criticized the way I did a story and he was absolutely correct in everything he said. And I went off on him. Big time. Rude, crude and childish. To you, whomever you are, I am truly sorry for my fevered response and I hope you can find it in your heart to be a bigger man than I was and to forgive me. Had I not been so ill this never would have happened, but it never should have anyway. I am very sorry.
