The Azbilliards 14.1 High Run Award

As of today, December 8, 2007 - it looks as if we will have a repeat winner - John Schmidt with a high run of 403. John also won last year with a 245, capping his year off with a US Open 9 Ball Championship as well.

I want to comemorate both of John's high runs (2006 & 2007) with 2 plaques - that can be presented to John at the 2008 DCC.

If anyone wants to donate to this cause, I will furnish the info only if we can get enough people to make this happen. If anybody knows of someone that could do these plaques, let me know.

If we can get some momentum behind this game in the form of exposure through this forum and by recognizing 2006 US Open 9 Ball Champion John Schmidt for his accomplishments, then I think it would be a giant step towards recognition of our game at DCC.

My plan is to have the plaques presented to John during the High Run Contest at DCC by myself and hopefully Grady Matthews. I'll even buy Forsyth a drink or two to make sure that we can get the presentation put on AZBTV.

Come on, guys. Let's make this happen.
