Too bad... I'll be in the Shreveport area, this weekend. Would have been glad to stop in and meet some folks. Was originally planning to be there around the 30th, but that plan got canned. My trip got a little smaller, as well as re-scheduled, so I'm going on limited time. Maybe next time around...

I might try to do that, next time. When my trip got rescheduled, it shrank. I tried to say that above, but didn't think I did a very good job. I won't have time to stop while I'm there this time, after all.

4th Jimmy Majors


We had 57 players and paid out just over $9800.

Great tournament. They have 2 Diamonds and 8 Valleys and there was some complaining about who got to play on the Diamonds. It was clear that the players prefer Diamond tables. I think Donny did his best to keep everything running smoothly.

The staff was awesome and everything was in great shape.
