I'LL LET THE PICS DO MOST OF THE TALKING, BUT I HAVE TO SAY THAT THE INTRACACY OF THE TOOLING, AND THE DEPTH OF THE WORK IS BREATH TAKING IN PERSON. I CAN'T IMAGINE THE TIME AND DEDICATION THAT A CASE LIKE THIS INVOLVES.

One of the best tooled cases I have ever seen. I'll need it when I hit the lottery and start dating Alicia Witt.

Rex did an awesome job on this case. The attention to detail is amazing. I`m sure it looks twice as good in person. Rex is raising the bar on his case work.
 
It's really great to see this case finally finished. I don't know if I prefer to see progress pictures or just the final piece.

I mean I feel like I already know this girl :-)

It's an amazing case, another raising of the bar.

I hope people begin to seriously consider the actual ART in these pieces and put appropriate values on them. Cases like this one are the ones that should command a premium price and be appreciated.

You did great Rex! Good thing we have about 8 months to practice ;-)

Oh, and nice one Marcus, you are never afraid to go outside the box.

Rex case work to me is #1 in my eyes. Workmanship and detail of his tooling on those leather panel are amazing. You have to see it in person to catch all the detail works. Pictures does not do any justice at all.

Thanks too for the good feedback everyone. It's definitely inspiring for me to keep on tooling away.

I guess you could call them 'boutique' cases. It's a lot of fun to be creative with the design and/or even really personal for the owner. I'm not sure about 'raising the bar' though. To quote Isaac Newton "If I have seen further it is only by standing on the shoulders of giants." I am extremely grateful for all the other casemakers and pioneers that I am constantly learning from. The bar is already pretty high.

i loved this case from the begining......great pic up marcus.......when i saw it in progress i hit rex up with a pm.... and soon mine should be in the works......mickey
