Take it easy, man. No need to yell. We don't ALL spend our entire life on AZB following and reading every post. Some have jobs and a life. I don't think I broke any laws or commandments here. Sorry I ruined your life.

So funny how great the comparison is!! Too bad I posted this link to Earl's facebook page and it got taken down. Don't know why that would happen... I thought it was endearing and VERY similar to his own accomplishments with US Open's in pool.. Oh well sorry to have hit a nerve  Maybe if people (dont know if its his page) had a sense of humor and know that it was in a positive light it would've stayed but oh well.... May have been taken differently but a grape is a grape whether you like it or not.

A little sensitive aren't we? And.....how in the heck did you know I don't have a job  I wasn't yelling, just amazed that the exact same thread appeared here two days ago. Sorry you got the wrong impression.

Lol good one. Who's seen the movie kingpin? If so, who is the big ern McCracken and Roy Munson of pool?

Pete Weber is a bowling legend and the comparison can be taken beyond the odd behavior and into raw talent: easily one of the best bowlers of all time.

That is a funny movie and an excellent question.

Earl the Pizzearl gets the Big Earn McCrackin vote but I am not sure who gets the Munson??

I bowled in a tournament against Pete Weber back in '04. I was 22 and it was the first bowling tournament I was ever in. I bracket with him first round and he comes over, introduces himself like this: "Do you know who I am?" He had his PDW Pete Weber shirt on. Me, being a smart-ass said,"Are you Parker Bohn?" Then I ended up beating him 264 - 219. He then picked up my ball and threw it down the closed lane next to him so I had to get a tech to go get it.

I got his autograph on the same ball the next day.
