The Emergence of a Custom Pool Cue

How you ever wondered about the fabrication of a pool cue? I am fascinated how a cue-maker is able to take an assortment of woods and raw materials
and craft them into a custom pool cue. So quite naturally, viewing pictures of pool cues under construction is really interesting and in case some of you feel
the same, here’s a glimpse of one of my cues nearing completion. My cue's design is not based upon some type of tribute cue or anything in that genre and
it's just a version I thought looked nice....... next month I'll find out after the cue arrives.

The cue should arrive this month which is ideal as I expect to get the okay to resume pool by mid-month.

The timing is just great..........Christmas is coming twice this year for me.......May and December.

You Can't See Me Smiling But I Am........

Well, the finish line is in sight and what I see I like a lot.......a whole lot.
Bob Owen has nailed this design exactly as I imagined it would turn out.
He had to have the patience of Jobe to tackle this one and it's paying off.

I know folks see me as a zealot when it comes to my own pool cues and
it sure is easy to feel and behave as such when you work with someone
as pleasant, talented and cooperative as Mr. Owen has been building the
two custom cues I ordered......this one is definitely going to turn out good..

p.s. 5/11 UPDATE: Just saw my surgeon today & was told still no pool playing for awhile.
Maybe by mid-June he said but for sure by mid-July...... ..Ugh! This cue is just about almost
ready to ship. Let Bob know no rush on shipping now after seeing my surgeon.

Soon To Be Introduced......

Bob is shipping sometime next week.......turned out better than I had hoped.......I am enthralled with Bob Owen's cue workmanship skills.
Here's a preview of my design that's almost finished......If you browse the photos in the thread, you're able to see this cue come together.
The wrap needs to be installed and a few coats and then Voila!........The Emergence Will Be Completed and A New Owen Cue Is Born!
