Mark Selby clinched his first title in 19 months after beating Luca Brecel 9-6 to take the English Open trophy. The 'Jester from Leicester' was clearly emotional as he got his hands on the silverware, but it was fully deserved as he produced the better snooker on the night. Lionel Messi is a bit like Ronnie O'Sullivan , they see things we just don't see but young Mbappe as good as he is couldn't see it out to the end and some people called it a fix on behalf of the Qatar's to promote sport to make it the Final .

Maybe Qatar money can devise some sort of penalty shoot out for snooker but what would you pay to see that final ?
