In 10 years of working on pool tables I had from time to time to talk to but never see his work upclose. I recently had the opportunity to meet up with Glen to see how he works on Diamond Tables and to also see is style of cloth install again. What I didn't know was when I got there he wanted me to actualy do the work tosee if I was a real installer or just wasting his time. Boy did I have to step up quick, it was very different to use someone else's tools and to do it thier way, using the measure glue method. It Was alot of fun and looking forward to working with Glen again when he gets close to this area.

Here a few picture's of the first Diamond Table that I did under Glen's supervision.

The old shims were replaced with a newer type and also Diamond new rails when you order your pocket size is now cnc cut to size instead of stacking shims or adding wood.

Glen hasn't sent me any of the rail assemble photo's yet so here is a teaser.

I will include some more phot'os reached my limit of 10 photo's per post.

I had the opportunity to follow Glen around to due 2 more tables including a Pro-am and a ~Gabrial Vector 2~ 9' 6 legged pool table. That was the wierdest and funniest install I have ever done took several days to do it right. That will be another post later on.

Hey Craig, Did you ever take the rails off the skirt? I never tried it that way and was wondering if anybody has tried that. Just wondering.
Thanks, LCCS

Yes, the skirts were off the top rails when they were worked on:D I always remove the skirts when ever I can.

In some of the pocket pictures it appears that the facings are not straight lines.
Is this an optical illusion?

Almost looks a little curved. Probably just the camera and angles.

It is from the Camera I had to look at it twice myself. I would take another picture with a straight edge to show you axcept the table is 3 hrs south of me.
