Has this happened yet with any streamers? If not is anyone planning a stream with more than one camera angle involved?

yes

I know TAR has used more than one cam . At one jacoby tournament
I was using 3-4 .Not sure I understand the question.

Has anyone switched between camera angles during a match? In other words, above the table view, then side, then end table angle and switched back and forth depending on the situation.

TAR has done it, Spheragon and others have, you need a DV switch to do this which is not cheap, the switch is 300-400, I need to pick up one of these so I can do some hand held stuff.

Accu-Stats has multi camera angles. TAR's setup is the nuts too. Johnnyt Johnnyt

Lenny can't you do it with adobe video communicator and a laptop?

You would need a DV switch if your cameras are connected by fire wire, through adobe it will not let you switch settings as soon as you start encoding.

Ray I think you must be talking about guys who actually have a sponsor and some money. I was referring to the weekend warriors like you and I.

I would like to see Lenny and TAR make this step. If they have already then great, it will add allot to the overall quality of the presentation.

Oh. You didn't say that in your original post. TAR HAS been doing it and is tonight.

I am sure we will do this down the road, I know TAR has for awhile and of course Accustats but it is not cheap. I could get use a lower end camera for a handheld and perhaps locate a DV switch at a good price and do it but for what I am doing it is not really needed but would be cool to have the capability. How often are you streaming and when is your next stream?

We at Cuesport TV have been doing it since January this year, in order to do it we use Wirecast which I think is about $480 - you need a decent computer system though in order to handle the encoding.

You can get a free trial of the software as well which is fully functional, it just adds a wirecast watermark.

Also, need enough DV or S-Video inputs for the number of cameras you want to run. With Firewire it is recommended that you only run one camera through each bus even if there are more than one slot available.
