lol, likewise x 10.

After much meditation and due consideration, I have come to the exclusive conclusion that your insinuations are too unharmonious for my susceptibilities, therefore further insinuations proposed unto said situation are superfluous.

Peer; can you translate this to Norwegian? I don't understand more than just a few words...

And if anybody can provide it, I'd appreciate an English translation as well.

In English, it means...I am rubber, you are glue...whatever you say bounces off of me and sticks to you....

Fatboy, you are just looking at prize winnings that have been reported to AZB. These people make a whole ton of other money that doesn't show up on your list.

Look at Jeanette Lee for 2007 on AZB. Her number is $48,000. In parade magazine last month she had a reported income of over $700,000. And that's only her "reported" income, which leaves out a lot.

Kind of a big difference, Don't you think?
Please show another example besides Jeanette Lee. It's a hard world for a professional pool player. To do what they are good at they have to give up many comforts we all take forgranted.

I travel with a top top top pro alot and know the business side of pool I have been around it since 85, it aint a bed of roses, Jeanette is THE exception. I make many times more than Jeanette ever has and at that level you DO report everything because the risk of not reporting draws too much heat. What you do(at her level or higher) is expense things that would otherwise be ordinary income. Failure to report income is a felony and that = jail, writing off too much = back taxes+interest+penalties which is better than jail.

the list I posted looks like 1985 when gas as I said was 65 cents/gallon and motels were $30/night. There has been no adjustment for CPI Consumer Price Index in the payouts. The Semonil Tour cut the $$$ in half this year. It cost $3500 to go to Quatar a few weeks ago, if you dont cash good its a liosing propsitation, Shane cashed $10,000 so he had a small payday. If there is no adjustment for the CPI pro pool will be in a real jam with the brutal economy, when air-fair doubles. Mark my words.

When your a top pro action is impossible to find on a regular basis these days that makes sence. Look what happened to Larry Nevel the other night(he has my highest respect for stepping up and playing) but how often does Archer get in action, he played Pickle a year ago. SVB aint getting much action now either.

Well, Fatboy, thank you for reminding us all about how filthy rich you are. We never tire of hearing it.
Jeanette is not THE exception, as you said, but she may be an extreme example. I started looking at the players section (with the salaries) and found several names whose reported (AZB) income is far less than their real income.
Last year I saw a pro knock off a 1-day for 5 dimes, but his value for 2007 is $1700! Why didn't the 5 dimes get reported?
My whole point on my original post was that these people have a lot more going on in their lives than what gets reported to AZB, so that list is pretty useless for determining the state of pool.

Yes, I never get tired of hearing how well Fatboy thinks of himself, and how much money he says he has.

not everyone here knows me, if you hate money or people who have it why do you count other peoples $$$? if it makes you happy I lost $50,000,000 about 2 months ago.

i agree, i dont miss the stress, believe me with finincail success comes equal stress. I'd give it all away to have my mom and dad back for 24 hours. relationships are the most precious part of our lives, period and health too,

Perhaps you should switch to pear's.

Funny you should mention that. I went to Whole Foods to get organic fruit, thinking it was healthier. I put one pear in the plastic bag, thinking I didn't want to get more than one because they spoil so quickly. When I got to the cash register, that one organic pear cost $1.74. ONE PEAR!

I never used to look at the price of food until recently. :o
