I recently had the honor of visiting legendary cuemaker and craftsman Ernie Gutierrez of Ginacue at his shop in North Hollywood, California. Ernie was very gracious in taking time out of his busy schedule to speak with me.
The video interview covers many topics including Ernie's history, his shop, the craft of cuemaking, design theft, his passion for motorcycles and the future of Ginacue. Of all the things I have been able to do with TAR this is one of the most special to me.
Thanks go to Keone (AZ= Yobugua), Teddy and J.J. for helping set this interview up and making it happen. From all of us at TAR and cue fans everywhere I say thank you gentlemen. A very special thanks to Ernie for sharing his knowledge and good humor with all of us. He is truly a one of a kind.

I really want to say thanks to Keone Young for helping to put this together. He took time on a Monday to pick me up at my hotel and get me to Ernie's shop on time in the maze that is LA. Thank you very much sir.
It was also a pleasure to meet a fellow videographer and pool fan J.J. This man has a truly amazing library of pool videos many of which he shot himself. I hope for all of the pool fans out there that one day we get to see some of this historic footage of the games greats.
Of all the great things I have been able to do with TAR this is one of the best yet. It was an honor to be able to visit with one of the legends of the cuemaking craft.
