Well, I've never put up an avatar before, so I figured I finally would....

Just dug up an old pic of mine to use, featuring some art-work that I did back in the day....use to do a little tagging back in my younger days, yo....:grin-devilish:...let me know if ya like it....:)


- "GhostWriter" <--------was my old tagger nickname.....:cool:


PS, "I love the smell of spray paint in the morning"....around 2:00 - 5:00 in the morning that is....:winknudge:

PPS, Maybe somebody on here will recognize my tag..:)....but hopefully not from seeing it on their building or garage door when they came out of their house in the morning...:eek: :o...if so, please accept my sincere apology for the unsolicited artwork - I have since changed my ways..:thumbup:..pm me, and I will paypal you $$$ for all damages/graffitti removal charges incurred.....:D

I hate taggers. They ruin our neighborhood over and over and over and over again. Glad you changed your ways.

I wouldn't go as far as to say I hate them...just some of the work that some of them do. I've been to some cities that taggers have done what I would consider beautiful works of art. Hell If I lived in the concrete jungle...it might be nice to see some of that...nothing derogatory tho or vulgar, but with all good your gonna have the bad too i guess.

Yea, I agree BVal...I know an old man that runs a hardware store in Muskogee and he has spent alot of his money getting this crap cleaned off his building....I agree, it looks nice, but to vandalize personal property is just childish and in my opinion, they are no better than the thieves who steal...thats just my 2 cents

Glad you changed your ways though

Well I too used to be a vandal, but like many of us who paint on walls for fun, we were just mearly finding our way to express ourselves. But many can't understand why anybody would run around at night painting on anything, much like many people can't understand why many of us spend so much times at the pool hall. It's for the excitement we feel while we're doing it. But that was in my past also, but now playing pool brings me the same excitement that painting did. I like your avatar 1 pocket ghost you had some skill in your day.:thumbup:
 
I use to get off as a kid picking the lock on someones door around 3 am. I would not go near a bedroom or take anything. I would just move some stuff around to let them know someone had been there while they slept. Now that will get your heart rate up a bit. Johnnyt

Everybody's glad I changed my ways? - man, that is freaking hysterical....I can't believe that you all believed what I wrote....I didn't really paint that grafitti, lol, I found that pic on the internet....

Anybody who's read some of my posts over the last 6 years, jawing about the old days with SJD, Jay, & the Beard would realize that I'm just about old enough to have a grandson in the current grafitti days....when I was a teenager growing up in the big city in the 60's, grafitti didn't exist - we would just inscribe 'love' and 'hate' on our knuckles, lol.

Taggers suck...thanks for leaving a mess for everyone to clean up. Disco Dan in DC used to tag my building. pissed us all off. glad you changed

Hey Ghost - Good one, you got me :)

I had no idea how old you are or who you were so when you represented yourself as a former tagger I had no reason to think you were just joking. That might explain why I believed what you wrote. :)
