Play has begun for our first stop on The Great Southern Billiard Tour. We got 43 players. Players are Shannon Daulton, Bill Bailey, Eugene Browning, Cliff Joyner, Brian White, Brandon Ashcraft, Claude Marrier, Wade Crane, & Landon Shuffett. There are some great matches in the first round. Ah, Chattanooga, one of my favorite places from days gone by. Last time I was there, which was about 25 years ago or more, I was lodging in a dry county, as I recall. So my traveling partner and I moseyed on over to a bar in town where it wasn't dry. When you put a quarter in the bar box, only 9 balls dropped out, a road player's dream. While he was taking care of business on the table, I was in an adjacent room, hanging out with the locals who were country clogging. I sure did have a blast in Chattanooga. ;)

Thank you JAM!! I was b/w a rock and a hard place having bought Eugene in the second calcutta- would have loved to see SD and Eugene in the finals. It was a great match- SD couldn't get the break workin'- good double hill thrillier w/ Eugene advancing to the next round.:(

I totally agree, JAM. Billy Johnson has been one of my favorites for 35 years and how can anyone pull against Landon. What a great kid and player.
