For me getting up from a shot that I am uncertain of,is the hardest thing.
Wether I am uncertain off the angle,the path of the cue-ball,or feel my set-up is incorrect,I just have a hell of a time re-starting.Failure to properly
execute position play , on the previous shot , also creeps into the need to re-set mode.Of course I don't reset and the ensuing play is often something
I would love to have back.
I know I am not alone in this.How common is it?
 
If you do all of your planning and thinking before you get down on the shot...it's pretty easy as soon as you get down to know if it fits with your plan. If it doesn't fit, stop and regroup. If it does, shoot the shot. Don't over think it...especially when you are already down on the shot. It's either good or it isn't. Shoot one...don't shoot the other.

I think you are correct. Only a Crazy person would know it's wrong and then shoot it anyway.....:-)

Figure all your stuff (high, low, left right, speed,whatever) while standing over the shot. Now go down, put it all in gear and execute. Shoot with confidence, and never ever try and be careful. You got it figured out. Pull the trigger!
