Yes Johnny,its a good read,if you have read Hustler Days then some of the Fats stuff is repetitive but i certainly picked up alot of new info i didnt know about Mosconi,good read. :)
 
I'm reading it now.

It does have some redundant stuff but a little different perspective. It's enjoyable to say the least. You won't regret reading it. So far it is a little more in depth on the Mosconi side. Enjoy!!
 
I give it a 9 out of 10.

Hustler Days featured Luther Lassiter, my all time favorite champion, so a 10 is reserved for that.
This book is also a great read with good historical tidbits to go along with their life stories.

You'll be kissing the Mrs John!:)

I agree with the mosconi part. there was alot on his past that I didnt know. Some new stuff on fats too but not as much, and as everyone said there was soem rehashing of old stuff. Overall a very good book.
 
Thanks for the reviews guys. Sounds good. I guess I'll hold off slapping the wife around for wasting HER money until I read it. Now that I think about it she probably can take me two out of three falls now a days. Johnnyt
