There's a new Chinese drama airing now about a professional snooker player and professional pool player who fall in love. The male lead actor --- Leo Wu --- is famous in China, so they are banking on this series to be successful. There are 32 episodes. 6 Episodes have aired so far and you can watch the episodes with English subtitles on YouTube as the episodes get released.

I see it kinda but the problem here is nobody other than a few hardcore pool-geeks like us have a clue who Ralph was. I don't think any poolplayer bio-pic would have much success. Its gonna have to be a drama/action/comedy of some sort for JoePublic to go for it. One that did some of both is 'The Rack Pack' about Jimmy White and Steve Davis. If its a political drama like House of Cards and the pool players are the covert spies carrying info from unsanctioned state actors.

Politics and pool go together. It is as old as gambling.
