I made mention of Jarrod's speed only because I know him from Joss Tour. We all know M.D. as he's in the pool news in recent times. The three females, of course, are known entities. I just did not know the other people. Again, Cleary was kind enough to share with me that they are local to Steinway.

You go on another thread about Hatch and Earl stating they are old, so why would anybody watch their reality show. You got a heck of a lot of nerve, man. I never wrote one untoward word about anyone in this thread. In fact, I posted on Jarrod's FB page that I am looking forward to watching the show.

I would have to agree with you this time, I didn't take your post as negative.
 
Based on the # 1 episode trailer, I think it might catch on. I think we as hardcore pool players need to take a step back and let the mainstream viewers make up their mind. We don't think anything but the Hustler is good pool watching. I will be tuning in 5/22/2015. I like the way thet slipped the rules of 9 ball in...very important for the mainstreamers. Also the slik way they told you who each acter was in real life. I don't think the acting on the trailer was bad at all. I will share it on FB. Johnnyt
 
"The Hustlers" is actually good!

Yes, it is true...I'm not a fan of either TruTV or reality television in general....but The Hustlers is actually entertaining to watch. Doesn't feel scripted to me...and personally knowing a few of the players involved, I'd say the characters for the most part are authentically represented and not fake. This show, IMHO, ranks high among reality tv shows in general. Thoroughly entertaining. Happy it's on, hope it does well, and definitely recommended to watch.
