No surprise. Many consider JL Chang to be the world's best rotation pool player. Baby Ko is a magnificent player, too. Both are 5-0 and both are guaranteed 5th place or better.
Truth be told, America's Mosconi team would be a huge underdog to a Team Taiwan consisting of JL Chang, Big Ko, Baby Ko, YL Chang and Kevin Cheng.
Many feel that a team of Taiwan's best would be the equal of any team the Philippines could put together. Wouldn't that be one hell of a match?
Taiwan produces fantastic pool players!
They are sponsored by Government, what could possibly go wrong, they are national Heroe!!
Yes, that's a big part of the story. They come from an environment in which pool players can thrive.
Still gotta put in the work. our players could thrive too, but Shane is the only one putting in the work. I don't think most of our players have the work ethic.

Don't you think you're painting with a pretty wide brush here? I'd love to see some tangible evidence to back up your position.
Didn’t they do that just a few weeks ago? Philippines won with a team that included Efren and without Orcullo, and it was held in Taiwan’s home turf. Pretty surprising. I’d love to see a rematch. No surprise. Many consider JL Chang to be the world's best rotation pool player. Baby Ko is a magnificent player, too. The Pinoys recently beat the Taiwan team
Team USA could well take a lesson from them.
Are they offering a lesson?
