I don't know if you all have see this. It was from last year's CSI Nationals. I think Alex got a walkover, but the PPV needed a match to roll. So they got the Platinum Division Champions ( Hansen siblings) to play a race to 3 against The Lion.

That was fun to watch. Alex played the set perfectly. His jump shot to get shape on the 8 was pretty sick.

These two kids had just won a pretty tough tournament, the Scotch Doubles, with many strong teams. They are very well schooled and kept their composure playing against one of their idols.
 
I was smiling the whole time watching that. Alex was a class act and the youngsters shot great.
 
It was really heartwarming, Alex is a nice guy ;) And those two positional shots for the 8 in games 2 and 3 were really sick :eek:
P.s.: That lady will be a killer in 3 years ;)

She looks to be a killer now! Pretty strong under pressure, beautiful stroke, both of them.:smile:

Oh you are talking about pool playing abilities:D Her technique is quite good but not perfect,she has some way to go yet but definitely on the right track;)
 
Good video. I was rooting for them all the way. It's pretty rare that I root for Alex's opponent. Actually I don't think I've ever routed against him.

I saw Alex playing with a couple kids when I was at the dcc and it was the highlight of the trip for me
 
Things like this is why he should be the most popular player in pro pool!

Svb is never involved in stuff like this! He jokes and dances around. He is my favorite player by far!!!

As much as he does with the kids there should be a ton of video? What parent would not record SVB spending quality time with the kids?

It is obvious that the lion did not have to take the time to participate in this!

He could be doing a lot of other things to mentally prepare and relax for the job of pro pool player.

Wearing himself out with the lambs and giving back is pretty low on the to do list! But, he is a great guy!

Shane has been terrific with kids....and there are vids...but it's a pain without my laptop.

Alex likes Shane a lot....they are two very different personalities...
....they would make a great exhibition tour.

Game 4 when Alex shot the 1 ball in the corner after the break? That is a safety shot?? I'm not getting how that works..
