The Lock Society of Atlanta, New Orleans

Thanks Nawlins Glen.

Hello Nawlins Glen,
I thank you for your warm welcome to AZB. It would be nice to meet you at Buffalo's Billiards, maybe we can shoot a game or two! I like meeting nice people. Their are a lot of nice people on AZB.

Regards,
Lock N Load.

The way you described Lock N Load(I love that handle)/Willie it reminds this old codger of several people I hadn't thought about in years. Thanks for that Matt, I mean Mattlock. I'm really looking forward to the tales you speak of.

Enlighten us please: What is the "Lock Society" about specifically? In order to be "induced into the Lockhood" would one need to first step in the box with the Master Lock himself and put together the right combination and come out victorious? (Perhaps Lock can answer these himself! ;))

When Lock makes his first post, please be so kind as to PM me with the link as I am pretty busy of late and would hate to miss greeting someone that has obviously left a very positive, favorable, and influential impression on you. I'm intrigued!

Bring forth the ...

Edit: Lock N Load ran the table before I could shoot --- no need to PM me now Matt!

Welcome again Lock. What say you about my post to Mattlock above (in red)?

Hello Matt90 /AKA Mattlock,

Glad to see

Good that you are liking the forums. I have been hooked on buying cues ,reading inside info on aiming systems, and of course went on a live streaming binge all from joining this forum. Of course I made some good friends too .
Lock you overlooked Bob's inquiry about how to become a Lock ???I know I myself went through some real hoops to be a lock .The level of my game was only one factor

Hello Bob,
I thought that was for MattLock. But you are correct in your note to MattLock on how to get into the Lock Society. You have to step into the ring with myself or one of my right hand ranking officers, Like MattLock. You have to be approved by the member, and he will grade you on your points of order to be a member of the Lock Society. A member can recommend you as well for the test.
Once you are approved, you will receive your Lock or Load name, and become an official member. We are building it as we go. You may add input to the Lock Society, or new ways to make the Lock Society better as we grow. MattLock will be in charge of ID cards, Rank, and Pool event ware.
Regards,
Lock N Load.

Matt,
It's nice to see Lock N Load posting. I knew he has been lurking on AZB for some time now. He has probably already pulled his gun and drawn a bead on most of you, so just don't go for your gun just yet without having plenty of backup and ammo.

I predict an interesting and fun exchange with this new forum member and can only say, "Laissez les bon temps rouler!"

Hello Joey A,
I thank you very much for your nice words and warm welcome to me. I really appreciate it coming from a man of your Knowledge, and class. You are a great asset to the AZB. Joey A, you had me smiling with your comments about me. Thanks again.
Regards,
Lock N Load.

I could not help but notice the word "or" above. At first I thought you added "Lock" on the end of Matt's name because it was a good fit based on what you are doing and the TV series. Now I'm not so sure. Do the names assigned thus far have either the word "Lock" or "Load" in them and will those in the future be that was as well? No big deal really ... it's just that when I noticed "or" I immediately thought of a few choice people that I thought the word "Load" would be most appropriate!

MattLock: You being in charge of garb and such coupled with the fact that your moniker has what could be construed as a TV connotation --- would this by chance be your patch?

My mind works in strange ways sometimes. A few names just popped in my head when thinking of what names I would use for a few folks I know. Be interesting to see who peeps would assign these names to.

Reload (A friend who can't rack right and has to keep redoing it.)
SirDrop$aLoad (Someone who keeps having to "Dip" in his pocket$.)
SirLock$ItUp (A player that knows how to size folk$ up.)
GoldDeeLock$ (A lady monster that most lose to yet still smile afterwards.)
LockNutMon$ter (The "Man" in this area. I ain't saying who.)
Load$TheRack (I got several names here.)
WaddaLoad (Wolfer that never comes through in the end. Big BSer!)
GoLockYourself (Uses a cuss word in every sentence - verbal intimidator.)
LoadOfBull (A banger who can make any shot -- just ask him!)
FootLocker (Put's his foot in his mouth & never locks-up right.)
FlintLock (Chain smoker.)
LoadsUp (Bets high, real high.)

Willie --- it's all in fun here bud. Remember, this is the Area 51 of Pool!

Sounds like the "Whole Person Concept" here --- nice. Seems you passed the test!

Hello Bob,
I realize it is all in fun. I like your input also. It is not about TV though. It is about pool. I just received a phone call from Justin Daniels tonight. Now he is a good pool player. I played him in Johnny Archer's pool hall in MattLock Turf in Georgia! Mr. Bob you are a very nice guy. I hope to meet you sometime soon! Thanks again for your good input into the Lock Society. You take care until we meet on the big pool table!

I knew that it did not pertain to TV. Just messing a bit with our mutual friend Mattlock in that his name matches the famous TV show with the same title.

You must be talking about Justin "The Kid" Daniels from Youngstown, Ohio. Isn't this him with Nick?

Justin "The Kid Daniels", is one of my good pool shooting friends. I guess everybody knows him. I have a Lock Society name for him. When he calls me this evening I will give it to him. Thanks. I knew you were messing with me about the TV show. Mattlock loves his name.
